Finance Data Researcher

Up to £31k DOE

London based hybrid role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Data Researcher to join a leading publication! In this role, you will gather and validate financial data from annual accounts, conduct detailed research, and contribute to data-driven reports. This position is ideal for someone who is highly numerate, detail-oriented, and curious, with a passion for accuracy and financial analysis.

You will work closely with the Head of Data and Insight to improve data processes, explore new datasets, and build relationships with key industry contacts. If you’re looking to enhance your data research and analytical skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment, this role offers fantastic growth and learning opportunities.
What will this role include?

Researching and collecting financial data from various sources, including annual accounts.

Inputting and validating data to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Collaborating with team members to review and cross-check data entries.

Building and maintaining relationships with key data suppliers and industry contacts.

Contributing to data reports and process improvements while supporting best practices.


The ideal candidate will have/ be:

Strong computer skills, including advanced Excel proficiency for data analysis.

Accurate data entry abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.

Excellent writing skills, particularly for financial topics and data-driven reports.

Knowledge of financial terminology or accounting principles would be beneficial.

Organised, self-motivated, and collaborative, with good time management and problem-solving abilities.

Committed to ensuring uptime, efficiency, and safety in high-demand environments, they are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the team in Glasgow. This role will maintain two sites - Chapelhall and Glasgow City Centre. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of electrical systems within the data centre. You will play a vital role in ensuring that all electrical systems are functioning at optimal levels to support 24/7 operations. Key Responsibilities: Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems, including HV Cooling Systems. Complete statutory and non-statutory maintenance of critical M&E assets Complete condition monitoring of critical IT assets Respond to issues in an efficient manner to maintain business SLA’s Complete and document fault finding as part of root cause analysis Provision IT services following an approved workflow Report and track issues via the appropriate management tool Keep management and other departments up to date at all times Promote and adhere to health and safety requirements Assist Operations and Security Staff as required About you: Previous experience of working within a Facilities organisation would be a good fit for this role. Electrical Qualifications: HND Electrical Engineering Professional Certification: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
