My client is a boutique private Equity/ Alternatives house that is looking for a Senior BA with strong Credit/ CLO experience to come on board on a 12 month rolling contract paying £700-800/ Day outside IR35. They need someone with pre and post trade compliance experience.
Role Overview:
They are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst with expertise in CLO (Collateralized Loan Obligation) structures and pre and post-trade compliance. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing a system and processes to enable in-house compliance for trades. This is a 12-month rolling contract position requiring strong analytical and technical capabilities, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, and implement a system for in-house trade compliance.
Develop and document technical specifications and business requirements for the implementation of trade compliance & waterfall processes.
Work closely with the vendor configuration team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of the system.
Perform system testing and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the system meets compliance requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to provide training and documentation on the compliance system and processes.
Requirements:
Extensive experience in alternatives asset management, private equity, credit, or other buy-side investment firm.
Demonstrable experience in leading project delivery and achieving business outcomes.
Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
Experience of delivering middle office transformation projects.
Strong analytical skills. Ability to interpret business needs and translate them into requirements.
Vendor management expertise.
Beneficial Experience:
Experience in the following asset classes & structures is highly desirable:
Credit funds
CLO structures
Leveraged loans
High-yield bonds
Knowledge of one or more of the following systems is highly desirable:
AllVue (Everest) or similar Portfolio Management and Trade Order Management system.
Pre and post-trade compliance systems
Middle/back-office systems (WSO, Geneva, CDO Suite, or similar).
StatPro or similar performance systems.
Data warehouse and reporting tools (Power BI, Anaplan, or similar).
