Role: Junior Software Engineer (Permanent)
Location: Hybrid (Cambridge office 1 day per week)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience)
We are currently assisting a client based in Cambridge who is seeking to expand their talented team by hiring a Junior Software Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Junior Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of the team, contributing to the design and development of software solutions that improve the company’s imaging technologies. You will collaborate closely with colleagues and have the opportunity to make a significant impact on product development. This role will involve working with multiple technologies to support a variety of software initiatives.
Skills & Experience Required:
2+ years of professional experience with Python and TypeScript.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a solid understanding of software development practices.
Exposure to C++ is beneficial, though not mandatory.
Experience with AWS Cloud services and Docker for containerisation is highly desirable.
Background in SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) or experience in a security-focused role is an advantage.
Prior experience working in the medical or health-tech sector would be beneficial but is not a requirement.
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics is preferred but not essential.
