Job Title: Health Economic Modeler – Budget Impact Analysis
Location: UK
Job Type: Contract
My client, a consultancy focused in Medical Technologies, are seeking a skilled Health Economic Modeler with expertise in Budget Impact Analysis (BIA) to join their team. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and validating health economic models to assess the financial implications of new healthcare interventions, including medical technologies and devices.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and adapt Budget Impact Models (BIMs) to evaluate healthcare interventions, for medical technologies
Perform cost-effectiveness and cost-utility analyses using real-world data and clinical trial outcomes
Conduct scenario analyses, sensitivity analyses, and uncertainty analyses to assess model robustness
Collaborate with market access and health policy teams to communicate economic evidence to stakeholders, payers, and policymakers
Ensure models align with HTA guidelines and industry best practices
Provide technical expertise in Excel-based modeling, R, Python, or other relevant software
Support the development of manuscripts, reports, and presentations for internal and external audiences
Required Qualifications:
Master’s or PhD in Health Economics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology or Public Health
2+ years of experience in developing health economic models in medical technology or medical devices
Strong proficiency in Excel, VBA, R, or Python for health economic modeling
In-depth knowledge of budget impact methodologies and HTA submission requirements
Ability to work with large datasets and conduct advanced statistical analyses
Strong communication skills with experience presenting complex models to non-technical stakeholders
Experience with payer engagement and value communication is a plus

- A large global organisation are in search of a IAM Governance Analyst to be responsible for overseeing the governance, risk, and compliance aspects of Identity and Access Management (IAM) internally. This person will ensure that access controls, policies, and procedures are aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
