Web Developer (3-Month FTC with Possible 1-Month Extension) | Public Sector Client
Day Rate: Up to £300 per day (Inside IR35) | Location: Remote/Hybrid
Are you a Web Developer looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects within the public sector?
Role Overview:
As a Web Developer, you will play a key part in coordinating website migrations, ensuring usability, and driving compliance with accessibility legislation. You will be responsible for developing and executing migration plans and working with Drupal content migration to the client’s web services. You will use your initiative to solve problems, ensure smooth transitions, and provide a seamless experience for website owners and end-users alike.
What You’ll Do:
Migrate Content: Coordinate and migrate website content from Drupal to the client’s web service.
Assess Usability: Conduct assessments to ensure websites meet accessibility standards and comply with relevant legislation.
Develop Migration Plans: Plan and execute detailed migration strategies in collaboration with website owners.
Coordinate with Stakeholders: Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Plan and prioritise your workload to ensure that all deadlines are met efficiently.

Excellent Organisational Skills: Ability to prioritise and manage competing tasks effectively.
Strong Data Analysis: Experience with data management and analysis to drive decision-making.

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
CMS Experience: Proven experience using a Content Management System (CMS).
Accessibility Knowledge: Familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
