Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shopify Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customising, and maintaining Shopify-based eCommerce websites. You will work closely with designers, marketers, and stakeholders to create seamless, high-performing online stores that align with business goals and enhance user experience.


Key Responsibilities:
Develop and customise Shopify themes, templates, and apps.
Implement responsive and optimised UI/UX designs for Shopify stores.
Enhance website functionality through custom coding using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
Integrate third-party apps and APIs to extend Shopify store functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Shopify and eCommerce operations.
Ensure website performance, security, and mobile responsiveness.
Work closely with designers and marketing teams to align store aesthetics and functionality with branding and conversion goals.
Optimise website speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
Conduct website testing and debugging to ensure smooth functionality across different devices and browsers.
Provide ongoing support, updates, and maintenance for Shopify websites.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify updates, eCommerce trends, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Shopify Developer with a portfolio of Shopify-based projects.
Proficiency in Liquid, Shopify API, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Experience in custom theme development and modifications.
Familiarity with Shopify apps, third-party integrations, and payment gateways.
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and mobile-first design.
Knowledge of SEO best practices for eCommerce websites.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with headless Shopify development and GraphQL.
Knowledge of performance optimisation techniques.
Understanding of digital marketing concepts and conversion rate optimisation (CRO).
Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools
