About the Role:

As a Flexibility Analyst, you will play a critical role in advancing initiatives to analyse and optimise energy flexibility resources, such as electric vehicles, batteries, heat pumps, and renewable assets, across high, medium, and low-voltage grids.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform statistical and machine learning analyses on large datasets, including grid user consumption, renewable energy forecasts, and system imbalances.
Gather and process flexibility data from smart meters, distribution system operators (DSOs), and market participants.
Develop actionable insights and present findings to internal and external stakeholders using Excel, Python, and data visualisation tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, grid development, market development) to translate insights into strategic recommendations, tools, and applications.
Manage key flexibility initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s strategic goals and objectives.
Key Requirements:
Master’s degree in engineering, economics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in the energy sector or electricity market.
Expertise in statistical methods and experience with machine learning techniques.
Strong proficiency in Excel, Python, and data presentation tools.
Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.
Excellent project management, organisational, and communication skills.
