PE Global is recruiting a Lab Technician for our food science client based in Wokingham. The role is an initial 6-month contract and the rate for this role is £12.93 /hr.

Responsibilities:
Applying your technical understanding of equipment to support laboratory operations.
You provide hands-on assistance to support the operation and goals of the laboratory by supporting experiments and applying your understanding under technical guidance.
You will support a range of analyses, prepare and maintain standard equipment and chemicals required for running of an analytical laboratory, support laboratory activities while ensuring compliance to the appropriate internal and external standards, and capture and report data with technical rigor and accuracy.
You will maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment and be proficient in generic and specific software packages.

Requirements:
Relevant industry and/or academic experience
Knowledge of laboratory equipment.

Please note PE Global cannot assist with sponsorship. Candidates will need to have a valid visa to live and work within the UK for at least the next 6-months.
