We are looking for a senior data analyst / architect to start full-time beginning of February for 1 year.

Responsibilities:
Design:
Translate functional and technical requirements into state-of-the-art data solutions.
Design solutions based on data from the Data Lake and Data Warehouse.
Convert requirements into a workable data model.
Set up and estimate data projects.
Capture and document business requirements.
Describe what the Data Team needs to develop.
Build:
Test and validate data developments.
Define and monitor the execution of test plans.
Actively contribute to building and testing reports.
Run:
Act as the primary contact for internal customers, bridging the gap between the business and the Data Team: lead workshops, document requirements, validate tests.
Gather change requests from users.
Assess and prioritize change requests.

Experience & Competences:
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Broad knowledge of our data environment.
Experience in data and BI based on hands-on practice.
Ability to design solutions.
Strong communication skills to function as the primary contact for users.

Technical Expertise:
The Data Lake and Data Warehouse are based on Synapse and Azure.

Practical experience with key reporting tools used by De Lijn (Power BI, Tableau, Cognos) is a strong asset.
