Job Title: Architect – NHS & Healthcare Technology (HL7/FHIR Expertise)
Location: London (Hybrid)
Rate: £550/day inside IR35
Duartion: 3 Months (to begin with)
Role Overview: We are looking for an Architect with expertise in healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 and FHIR, to lead the design and implementation of state-of-the-art healthcare technology solutions for the NHS. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NHS healthcare systems and a proven track record in designing scalable and interoperable architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of healthcare technology architectures aligned with NHS standards and interoperability requirements.
Leverage expertise in HL7, FHIR, and related standards to ensure seamless data exchange across healthcare systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to deliver robust and innovative solutions.
Conduct thorough assessments of existing systems and recommend improvements to meet NHS and industry interoperability standards.
Provide technical leadership in the integration of third-party systems and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Stay updated on emerging trends in healthcare technology, interoperability, and NHS policy to drive continuous improvement.
Skills:
Extensive experience in healthcare technology, with a focus on NHS systems and interoperability.
Proficiency in HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare data exchange standards.
Strong understanding of NHS interoperability standards, clinical workflows, and healthcare systems.
Hands-on experience in designing scalable architectures and implementing data integration solutions.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of regulations such as GDPR and UK Data Protection Act.
