A leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) and IT Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled Terraform Architect with expertise in Azure to join their team on an Outside IR35 contract basis.

This is an immediate start position working on an initial 6 month contract basis. The role is also remote with occasional travel required across the UK/Ireland on an ad-hoc basis.

Terraform Architect Role Overview:
Position: Terraform Architect
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Remote, with monthly travel to Ireland
Rate: £400-£450 per day (Outside IR35)
Duration: Initial 6-month contract, with the potential for extension

Terraform Architect Key Responsibilities:
Act as the Terraform Subject Matter Expert (SME) with advanced architectural skills.
Create and manage Terraform modules for scalable and reusable IaC solutions.
Work extensively on Azure Cloud infrastructure, designing and implementing robust solutions.
Develop High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) to align with business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, efficient, and scalable IaC solutions.
Travel to Ireland once a month to engage with stakeholders and ensure project alignment.

Terraform Architect Key Requirements:
Proven experience as a Terraform Architect, with in-depth module creation expertise.
Strong background in Azure Cloud technologies and infrastructure.
Extensive hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) design and implementation.
Proficiency in developing detailed HLDs and LLDs.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Willingness and ability to travel to Ireland once a month.

Oversee O365 administration, including migration from on-premises environments. Collaboration and Communication: Build strong relationships across teams by proactively engaging stakeholders and third-party vendors. Be approachable and responsive, taking the initiative to resolve issues with minimal supervision. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in Windows Server administration (2008-2022). Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi and Nutanix virtualisation platforms. Proficiency in backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault preferred). Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP. Familiarity with networking concepts and their application in server management.
