Technical Programme Manager (ERP, Google Analytics) Finnish
Large international consultancy require a Technical Programme Manager to work with one of their Finish client. They are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Technical Program Manager to manage the success of multiple cloud migration work streams. This is specific workstream involves modernizing their analytics strategy by moving to Google Cloud. This will sue Google Cortex Frament work to migrate and prepare SAP Data (ECC) for advanced capabilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and execute multiple cloud migration work streams simultaneously.
Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Analyze dependencies between work streams and identify and mitigate potential risks.
Oversee and coordinate the activities of cross-functional teams, including cloud engineers, architects, data engineers, and other stakeholders.
Monitor progress against plans and make adjustments as needed; ensure timely completion of project deliverables within budget constraints.
Manage communication and collaboration between stakeholders, including technical teams, business units, and senior management.
Provide technical guidance and expertise to project teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
Identify and mitigate technical risks and challenges that may arise during migration.
Collaborate with cloud architects to design and implement scalable and secure cloud solutions.
Stay current on the latest cloud technologies and trends.
Identify opportunities for automation and optimization within the cloud migration process.
Proactively identify and address challenges and roadblocks.
Analyze project outcomes, identify lessons learned, and implement process improvements to enhance future migrations.
Advise on and plan staffing for engagement teams.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
7+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably in the IT field.
5+ years of experience with cloud migration projects.
Experience in migrating Legacy applications to the cloud.
Experience with data migration and analytics technologies
Knowledge of Google Cortex.
Knowledge of ERP (ideally SAP ECC)
Experience running agile ceremonies (user story grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, story point estimation, etc) or serving as a scrum master
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex technical projects.
Strong technical knowledge of cloud technologies and platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Excellent program management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Fluency of Finnish & English.
Additional European language skills (business conversational or higher) in one of the following: German, Spanish, French, Italian,
Experience with leading and preparing executive level briefings and presentations
This position is based in the UK and fully remote offering a salary in the region of £80-120K with an excellent benefits package.
The role requires someone who is fluent in Finnish and English as the main client is based in Finland.
