Description
As the Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be part of a small, specialist team, reporting into an IT Manager, dedicated to infrastructure project work.
This will cover all areas of infrastructure, including server and virtualisation projects, on-premise data centre and cloud migrations, networking, security, and backup and disaster recovery solution delivery.
The business are consistently undergoing exciting acquisitions, so you will be part of a team that is responsible for the integral integration of external IT environments into the estate of the wider group.
The role will come with the flexibility of hybrid working, with responsibilities split across home working and the Birmingham head office, but there will, on occasion, be requirements to travel for essential on-site project delivery work, which may be on a regional, national and international basis alongside the team.
