We are currently seeking dynamic and resourceful individuals to join our technology practice as Project Managers, with expertise in migration projects, primarily focusing on leading the planning and execution of key initiatives within the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with the crew lead, aligned initiative manager, and technology and business stakeholders to lead the coordination of all aspects of the CIG or Commodities crew migration, which includes the planning, execution, timing, quality, client satisfaction, and early identification of potential issues.
Maintain a clear plan and run-book of migration tasks, status, risks, and issues.
Deliver clear communications and status updates.
Identify and manage senior stakeholders and clients, evaluate their interests, and establish effective communication channels ensuring effective stakeholder management and engagement.
Coordinate the tasks of the migration initiative.
Help resolve cross-stream conflicts and dependencies, align with stream/crew leads and facilitate reprioritization efforts.
Perform risk assessment, play an active role in risk mitigation and management, and maintain and monitor a risk management plan.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience of leading and coordinating migration projects.
Ideally at least 10 years of initiative/program management experience.
Experience of applications, infrastructure, and end-user migrations.
Good understanding of operational processes, preferably within the financial services industry.
Team player with an enthusiastic and proactive personality, a true agile mindset, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong active listening and communication skills to build networks and partnerships at all levels.
Well-structured, reliable, and dedicated; high attention to detail; ability to handle a significant number of dependencies and issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to adapt to different audiences and working styles/backgrounds, and effective at influencing change in a global and diverse team.
Proactive and independent work style; strong organizational skills.
