CMDB Data Analyst (SC Cleared)
Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires an experienced CMDB Data Analystwithactive UK SC Clearanceto be based in their client's office in Wokingham, UK.
This is a hybrid role - you can work remotely in the UK and attend the Wokingham office 3 days per week.
This is a 6+ month temporary contract (extendable), to start asap.
Day rate: Competitive Market rate.
Key Requirements:
BMC CMDB administration
Collect data from tooling to generate reports for distribution to relevant stakeholders
Modify CMDB data to improve data accuracy, eg, upload recent contract details to link with relevant assets/configuration items
Collaborate with relevant support teams to drive automation in asset tagging
Data request processing
Active SC clearance is mandatory
Ensure that the Asset Management Process is used correctly within the department
Manages and/or provides guidance for maintaining Configuration Items
Owns one or more CI types
Ensure that the Configuration Management Process is used correctly within the department
Signals and reports any deviation detected in the IT infrastructure from the status and/or composition as registered in the CMDB
Adopt, aspire, strive to use 'Best in Class' standards
Engage and assist all technical leads and colleagues
Execution of the Process (directly perform or delegate responsibilities), includes operating the defined and agreed process, ensuring it interfaces with all other relevant processes, reviewing the effectiveness and efficiency of the process, performing process audits and managing the process improvement cycle
Coordinate initial identification of Assets within the sections of the department
