Network Project Engineer - 6 Month Contract - Outside IR35
We're working with a managed service provider, looking for a Network Project engineer to join on an initial 6 Month Contract - Outside IR35! You'll be working on critical network projects with a focus on replacing core and aggregation networks and handling large-scale L3 subnetting.
Key Details:
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months - Scope for extension
Location: Fully Remote
Determination: Outside IR35
Key Responsibilities:
Implement, and manage network changes, including access switch migrations, core replacements, and aggregation updates.
Perform routing and switching tasks with Cisco Access & Distribution technologies.
Handle subnetting for thousands of devices, ensuring seamless network operations.
Execute and support network adds and changes, maintaining operational integrity.
Collaborate with teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience in Routing & Switching, Cisco Access & Distribution, and large-scale L3 subnetting.
Cisco R&S - ISR, ASR, Nexus & Catalyst
Strong knowledge of network implementation and aggregation network replacements.
Cisco certifications (CCNA/CCNP)
Proficient in diagnosing and resolving complex network issues.
Protocols: OSFP/SR/MPLS/BGP/EVPN/L3 & L2VPNS/Multicast
