As Finance graduate, you will play a meaningful role in the operation of our Group’s finances through financial planning, reporting, and analysis, helping us to maximise value and set the business up for decades of further success.
What will I be doing?
Our Global Trainee Programme offers you the opportunity to work at the heart of our Finance & Data teams, gaining hands-on experience in data-driven decision-making, financial reporting, and business intelligence. Over the course of two years, you’ll rotate through three key teams, developing a comprehensive understanding of finance transformation and data strategy.
On our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) pathway, you'll rotate through three teams over the 2-year programme, taking on a variety of projects to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making.
On our Data Finance pathway, you’ll gain hands-on experience in data-driven decision-making, financial reporting, and business intelligence.
Some teams you could be working with on the Financial Planning & Analysis pathway include:
Financial Planning & Analysis – Use a data-driven approach to financial planning, forecasting, and reporting to support group-wide strategy execution.
Strategic Workforce Planning – Develop a dynamic approach of resource management, implementing anticipation tools to balance workforce capacity with business activity. You will also support operational managers in improving efficiency and contribute to the enhancement of Carglass France’s overall conversion rate.
Accounting, Reporting & Internal Control – Contribute to financial reporting accuracy, internal control processes, and risk management, ensuring compliance with regulations and supporting audit activities.
Finance Transformation & Governance – Support finance transformation projects, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, optimizing risk governance processes, and ensuring compliance with internal audit and regulatory requirements
Some teams you could be working with on the Data Finance pathway include:
Data Analysis – Use a data-led approach to help the teams that work on financial planning, forecasting and reporting to enable group-wide strategy execution.
Strategic Projects – Lead and deliver change across the Finance function, improving our ways of working and enabling enhanced business performance.
Business Intelligence – To work on the efficiency of our finance process, transversality with business intelligence team is essential. This cross-functional approach allows us to better integrate the tools created by the BI department into our financial processes to meet operational challenges.
