Job Description
Brayton Global is currently looking for a Technical Operations Manager for a prestigious client in Brussels (on-site work).

DESCRIPTION

The Technical Operations Manager will play a key role in managing and optimizing technological and operational resources to ensure the efficiency and security of IT infrastructures, as well as the productivity of the team. The selected candidate will coordinate daily activities, oversee internal teams, and work closely with various departments to implement innovative technological solutions, ensure smooth operational activities in terms of assistance, maintenance, onsite supervision, and account management.

Main Responsibilities

1. Coordination of Resources and Activities:
Manage and coordinate human and material resources to optimize workflows.
Plan and oversee daily activities in line with organizational priorities and objectives.
Collaborate with teams across departments (and business sites) to ensure integrated and efficient operations.
2. Client Interface:
Maintain continuous communication with the client to understand their needs and resolve any technical issues.
Manage the relationship with the client to ensure that projects align with strategic and operational goals.
Provide detailed reporting on project progress and daily activities.
3. Systems and Network Administration:
Manage the administration, maintenance, and optimization of IT infrastructures, including computer systems, networks, and security.
Monitor the technological infrastructure to ensure high performance and data security.
Implement security policies to protect sensitive information and manage vulnerabilities.
4. Database Management and Optimization:
Administer and optimize the performance of corporate databases.
Ensure data backup, recovery, and protection, managing any related data security issues.
5. Software Development and Maintenance:
Develop, test, and implement software applications tailored to organizational needs.
Integrate internal technological systems to ensure smooth and compliant operations.
6. Hardware Installation and Maintenance:
Install, configure, and manage corporate hardware, including servers, PCs, and network devices.
Manage and maintain physical infrastructures, including cabling and technological devices.

Required Skills

Leadership and Team Management: Ability to lead and motivate internal teams, organizing resources and activities to achieve organizational goals.
Advanced Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of operating systems, networks, databases, software development, and cybersecurity.
Project Management: Experience in planning, coordinating, and managing complex projects while meeting deadlines and budgets.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to interface with internal departments and clients, facilitating communication between technical teams and stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Excellent ability to address and resolve complex operational and technical issues.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in institutional or high-tech environments.
Experience in team, resource, and project management.
Advanced knowledge of IT technologies, including operating systems, networks, databases, and cybersecurity.
Excellent command of English and Italian (both written and spoken). Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
