We are seeking an experienced Technical Director to lead the development of a groundbreaking website and gamified app that blends AR, multimedia, and interactive elements to inspire positivity and drive real-world impact.
Responsibilities
Oversee and guide the technical execution of the website and app build, ensuring smooth development and implementation of all features.
Solve complex technical challenges related to 3D, multimedia, ecommerce, gamification, AR, and interactive experiences.
Collaborate closely with a small team of designers, developers, and stakeholders to create a seamless and engaging digital platform.
Ensure the project remains on schedule and meets performance, security, and scalability standards.
Research and implement the latest technologies to enhance the product’s innovation and impact.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to the development team.
Optimise workflows, tools, and development processes for efficiency and quality.
Requirements
Manage the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for the mobile app, ensuring scalability and performance.
Onboard and manage development staff across game development, mobile app engineering, backend infrastructure, and ecommerce integration.
Establish coding standards, development workflows, and best practices.
Collaborate with the Project Manager, designers, and business stakeholders to align technical execution with product vision.
Oversee cloud infrastructure, APIs, security, and database management.
In collaboration with leadership team, evaluate select technologies, tools, and frameworks that best support the project.
Ensure the app meets compliance, app store requirements, and security best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve high-level technical issues efficiently.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in a technical leadership role within mobile app development, gaming, or ecommerce.
Strong expertise in mobile development (iOS/Android), game engines (Unity/Unreal/Godot), and backend technologies (Node.js, Python, or similar).
Understanding of ecommerce platforms and payment integrations.
Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams in a remote work environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to technical challenges.
