IT Data Services Specialist (Contract)
Location: Remote (UK-based preferred)
Start date: Late May–June 2025
We’re expanding our contractor network ahead of client projects launching this spring and are looking for IT Data Services specialists with experience delivering advanced analytics, intelligent automation, and platform support. This is a non-permanent, contract-based role within a delivery-focused digital team.
You'll work across data science, platform operations, and AI/ML implementation—helping us drive real-time insights, automation, and scalable value for clients.
What you'll do:
Deliver actionable data insights using AI tools, machine learning models, and analytics platforms
Support the ongoing operation and optimisation of data pipelines and infrastructure
Manage and maintain cloud-based data platforms (e.g. Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Services)
Implement and support intelligent automation tools (e.g. UiPath, Power Automate, or custom AI workflows)
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure data services align with wider programme goals
What we’re looking for:
3+ years’ experience in data services, analytics, or AI/ML operations
Strong skills in one or more of the following areas:
Data science & analytics (e.g. Python, SQL, R, Power BI)
Data operations & platform management (e.g. ETL, data lakes, monitoring)
AI/ML foundry services (e.g. MLOps pipelines, model deployment and monitoring)
Intelligent automation (e.g. bots, workflow automation, smart assistants)
Experience working within agile teams and delivering outcomes to deadlines
Comfortable translating technical insights into business value
