Job Description

**Job title:** .NET Developer – Blazor **Role Summary:** Redesign and migrate a legacy desktop platform to a scalable, cloud‑ready web architecture using the latest .NET (C# 8.0) and Blazor technologies. Deliver responsive, high‑performance web components, modern frontend integrations, and robust client‑server communication while collaborating on API design. **Expactations:** 6‑month renewable assignment, immediate start, 2 days remote (remote‑friendly). **Key Responsibilities:** - Migrate existing .NET/WinForms/WPF codebases to Blazor server or WebAssembly solutions. - Design and implement reusable web components with Blazor and the internal UI framework. - Integrate modern frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, JavaScript). - Optimize client‑server communication, networking layers, web storage, and data access. - Ensure cross‑browser compatibility, performance, and maintainability. - Collaborate on backend API design and integration (REST, SignalR, etc.). **Required Skills:** - • • • • Expertise in .NET/C# (v8.0 or newer). - • • • • Proficient in Blazor (server and/or WebAssembly). - • • • • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript. - • • • • Experience with web architecture: HTTP/HTTPS, authentication, session management, caching, local/session/IndexedDB storage. - • • • • Familiarity with Azure, IIS, Kestrel, Docker (plus). - • • • • Version control (Git) and CI/CD pipeline experience. - • • • • Modular development and component‑based design. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or equivalent) are a plus.
