Job Description
**Job Title** Mobile Air Conditioning & Chiller Engineer **Role Summary** Provide engineering support for mobile air conditioning and chiller systems in the South East, performing preventive and reactive maintenance, service visits, and out‑of‑hours duties across VRF, CRAC, split, and cassette units. **Expectations** - Deliver engineering tasks professionally and on time. - Adhere to quality standards, processes, and client requirements. - Work both independently and as part of a team; participate in standby rota. - Comply with safety and regulatory obligations, including refrigerant handling. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct preventive maintenance and service visits on VRF, CRAC units, splits, cassettes, and associated controls. - Provide reactive breakdown cover during normal hours. - Participate in out‑of‑hours work and standby rota as required. - Ensure all tasks meet agreed standards and quality expectations. **Required Skills** - Technical competence in VRF, CRAC, split, and cassette systems. - Experience with medium‑to‑large tonnage chillers and central chilled water plant components. - Understanding of refrigeration scroll and screw compressors. - Knowledge of equipment from major manufacturers (e.g., Carrier, York, Daikin, Trane). - Ability to work independently or within a team. **Required Education & Certifications** - Recognised training in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning. - Valid 2079 Refrigerant Handling qualification (or equivalent). - Evidence of equivalent work experience if formal training is not available. ---
