Job Description: Scottish Based, Software Engineering Contract, 6 Months Rolling – TypeScript, Node, Vue

We’re on the lookout for a Software Engineer to join an equipment manufacturer within the energy industries.

This role is available on an initial 6-month contract. Based on a hybrid basis from their Aberdeen HQ.

If you love working with TypeScript, Node, and Vue, enjoy solving real-world problems, and don’t mind popping into the office 1–2 days a week (Aberdeen-based), we’d love to hear from you!

What you’ll be doing:
Building cool software using TypeScript, Node.js, and Vue
Working on projects that might involve embedded systems (if that’s your thing)
Collaborating with a team of engineers and developers to create real-world solutions
Debugging, fixing, and improving stuff (because let’s be honest, that’s half the job)

What we’re looking for:

Solid experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and Vue
Bonus points if you’ve worked in an engineering/industrial environment
Even more bonus points if you’ve got experience with embedded systems
Someone who enjoys teamwork but can also crack on independently

The details:

6-month contract (potential for extension)
Aberdeen-based, with 1–2 days in the office per week
Competitive day rate
Friendly team, interesting projects, and no micromanagement
