Analyst - Investigation/Incident Response Specialist (Data Loss)
Job Description
The opportunity is for an analyst to provide oversight, monitoring and enhancement to existing data loss protection services and processes. The incumbent will be responsible to help investigate and respond to identified data exposures.
Scope:
Proactively investigate and lead data loss monitoring efforts within the environment
Communicate with internal areas at all reporting levels.
Collaborate with data protection teams to highlight issues and to help enhance current monitoring controls.
Support policy updates by coordinating enhancements with other team members partners.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members and partners.
Ensure that process documentation is maintained, reviewed, and updated on an ongoing basis.
Required:
A good understanding of data risk and exposures
Knowledge of investigations and incident response processes.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities
A willingness to make a difference and help protect business areas and data
Valued:
Industry related certification - eg. Security+, CC certified with ISC2
Knowledge of financial services business line(s) and associated applications and processes
Information Technology standards, methodologies, and audit requirements
This is an initial 6 month contract and inside IR35 and the rate to be discussed.
The client are based in central London and operate a hybrid working model and their expectation is 2-3 days per week in their office.

Job Description
This is an IT role in cyber security.
We need a security analyst to provide and maintain security infrastructure, providing stability by following and using the tools, policies, processes and procedures that are available while supporting the clients constant growth, innovation and adoption of emerging technologies. The opportunity is to provide oversight, monitoring and technical control enhancements to existing data loss protection services and processes.
Scope:
Proactively investigate and perform operational enhancements, support and protection efforts.
Communicate with internal areas at all reporting levels.
Collaborate with data protection teams while addressing operational issues and to enhancing monitoring controls.
Perform policy updates by coordinating with other team members.
Ensure that process documentation is maintained, reviewed, and updated on an ongoing basis
Create, review, maintain and update documentation. Undertake problem ownership and projects leadership.
Responsible for the planning and controlled execution of releases into the managed environment.
Improving the process by identify areas for automation and Scripting wherever possible
Required:
IT-security professional with solid experience in the infrastructure security domain or in the IT application security domain.
Experience running data discovery, loss and cloud-based protection services.
Familiar with data loss investigations and incident response processes.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
A willingness to make a difference and help protect business areas and data.
Experience with global deployments of data loss prevention products and/or cloud-based solutions
Valued:
Industry related certification - eg CASP+/CISSP/CISA/CISM
Knowledge of financial services business line(s) and associated applications and processes
Information Technology standards, methodologies, and audit requirements
Experience on administrating and maintaining Red Hat Enterprise Linux system
General Networking skill including but not limited to Firewalls, routing, NAT, SI Model, packet trace and analysis knowledge
Knowledge on Shell Scripting Project management skills Interpersonal Skills Communication, flexibility, self-driven, team player
