Role Purpose
Infinigate Cloud are seeking a talented and motivated Platform Engineer to join their successful Digital Platforms team. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing our Cloud Blue commerce platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform's reliability, scalability, and performance. Your role will involve operational reporting, data analysis, and problem-solving to support our business objectives.

Please note, this is a full-time hybrid position, based at our offices in Fareham. This role may require some out of hours commitment following an initial training period. Hybrid expectations for our teams are 3 days in office, 2 working from home.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain the Cloud Blue commerce platform.
• Develop and optimize operational reports and dashboards.
• Perform data analysis to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform reliability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues.
• Implement best practices for data management and platform operations.

General Skills
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL database management.
• Experience with Data Bricks and PySpark.
• Strong background in operational reporting and data analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
• Ability to demonstrate problem-solving capabilities through past experiences.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen coupled with a drive for operational excellence.
• Experience in cloud-based platforms and services.
• Familiarity with commerce platforms and related technologies.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.

• UP to £35,000 - £40,000 salary per annum
• 25 days annual leave rising to 28 days with length of service, plus bank holidays.
