As a Senior Product-Driven Software Engineer on the Adoption team, you’ll play a key role in driving n8n’s adoption and retention by building features that enhance user engagement.

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

Collaborate closely with product and design – You engage in discussions about feature scope, provide technical input, and help refine ideas before they’re built.
Outcome-focused work– You don’t just ship features; you care about their impact on users and iterate based on real feedback.
Balancing trade-offs – You make smart decisions between speed and robustness, knowing when to build quick experiments vs. scalable solutions.
Data-informed decisions – You use analytics, A/B testing, or user feedback to guide technical choices and product direction.
Iteration, iteration, iteration– You believe in shipping small, testable improvements rather than over-engineering upfront.

What You’ll Bring

You are a product-minded full-stack engineer who cares about delivering value to the end user.
You have 5+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js, ideally working on deep tech products.
You have solid experience with React or Vue on the frontend.
You’re curious and you love learning new things
You value feedback, believe in continuous learning, and enjoy working with others to create a positive team environment
Bonus points for:
Experience with cloud computing (Docker, Kubernetes) and an understanding of compilers/parsers
Experience building microservices
Familiarity with LangChain or AI-driven application development
Interest for open source

At n8n, we have an incredibly passionate and growing community of technical users, YouTube creators, ambassadors, and automation experts. Your mission will be to streamline and scale our community programs, ensuring our members receive the right support while helping our internal teams leverage the power of our engaged audience.

To achieve this, you will take charge of operational tasks, content coordination, and program execution, allowing our Senior Community Manager to focus on high-level strategy.

1- Support & Scale Community Onboarding

Onboard new ambassadors, YouTube creators, and experts community members.
Manage licenses and Slack access, ensuring smooth entry into our ecosystem.
Assist in coordinating community events, helping ambassadors with venue selection and logistics.

2- Optimize Community Engagement & Content

Support social media activities, ensuring consistent engagement across platforms.
Support production of the community newsletter, including editing and production.
Assist with live streams and webinars, coordinating speakers and production logistics.

3- Leverage Community for Demand Generation

Support content distribution, handling marketing campaigns (LinkedIn and beyond) around YouTube creators and experts content to amplify user-generated content.
Help track community-driven impact, ensuring our marketing and sales teams can leverage key insights.
Collaborate with PMMs and DevRels, aligning community efforts with broader business goals.

4- Automate & Scale Operations

Streamline repetitive tasks through automation and low-code workflows.

Requirements

Must-have

Community or Marketing Experience: You have 1-2 years of experience in community management, marketing, or communications at a startup (Series A-B).
Experience with No-Code/Low-Code Tools: You have used automation platforms before (Zapier, Make, n8n..)
Basic CMS & Content Skills: You can edit or create simple web pages using a CMS.
Data & Reporting Knowledge: You understand basic marketing analytics and can work with spreadsheets.
Process & Automation Mindset: You are eager to optimize workflows and automate manual tasks.

Nice-to-have

Hands-on n8n Experience: You’ve used n8n for your own projects or in a professional setting.
