Teaching Assistants wanted to work in schools across Bristol.

Are you a teaching assistant who is looking to work in schools and support young individuals? If so, we urge you to get in touch!

Team Educate are recruiting for passionateteaching assistants who specialise in working with children within the educational setting.

As a teaching assistant, you will be working with pupils on a 1-1 basis or within small groups to support their learning, encouraging confidence, independence, and positive behaviour. Theteaching assistant we are looking for will be confident working with KS3 & KS4 pupils, in a mainstream secondary school environment.

SEND Supply Teaching Assistant
Job Description
Team Educate are seeking a flexible SEND Supply Teaching Assistant to work in a number of alternative provisions in Bristol.

Are you a SEND Teaching Assistant wanting to make a difference in a special needs provision? Are you passionate about helping SEND children reach their full potential in education? Are you a SEND Teaching Assistant who is looking for a better work/life balance? If so, Team Educate want to hear from you!

Team Educate has been asked to recruit SEND Supply Teaching Assistants to work directly with schools in Bristol. This role would be working within the SEND provision on a supply basis, working with experienced SEND teachers to ensure students are supported during the school day and have the best opportunity to learn. You would be expected to provide 1:1 support as well as within a group setting, allowing you to build a great relationship with students.

No prior experience is necessary - we value the right attitude and a passion for helping others. Experience or qualifications in SEND are advantageous, but not essential. We are looking for someone who is patient, empathetic, and motivated to make a real impact on a child’s educational journey.

The successful SEND Supply Teaching Assistant will benefit from:

Being able to make a difference in supporting these young learners
A competitive day rate of £86 to £110 per day (experience depending)

Free CPD accredited training for the following courses: Safeguarding, Autism Awareness & Prevent
Access to additional Free training such as: SEN training, Assessment, The role of a Cover Supervisor, Behaviour Management, A guide to Tutoring, and Classroom Support
Team Educate also offers the opportunity to complete Level 2 Team Teach
Team Educate also offers Makaton Training

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will require:

A passion for delivering excellent care
A valid DBS certificate, or be willing to put a new application through
A right to work in the UK
Contactable references covering the last 2 years
