Position Overview
If successful you will become a member of Autodesk’s newly-formed Stardew team, a group of experts investing in a cutting-edge software-driven approach to Quality Assurance (QA). In this role you will play a crucial role in developing automated tests designed to assess and improve the quality of our products. You will gain extensive software experience by working closely with both our web and desktop development teams, and will liaise with software engineers, designers, and architects to identify innovative solutions that meet our quality targets.
One product you will contribute to is BIM Collaborate Pro; a sophisticated client- side application made possible through using the latest web technology (React, Redux and webGL). We have a rapidly expanding user base so it is crucial we maintain our highest quality standards with each release. We ensure the quality of BIM Collaborate Pro through a comprehensive
approach which includes automated End-to-End tests, Unit tests, a Continuous Integration pipeline, and focused testing against requirements gathering. As a member of the Stardew team your role will not only involve maintaining these essential tools but also developing these tools for our other products.
Responsibilities
You will be...
Contributing to quality through the entire development lifecycle, from design to customer release, thereby gaining extensive experience of the software development world
Creating resilient and trustworthy automated test functionality, as well as maintaining existing tests using the Cypress Javascript framework Designing test cases and executing test procedures, documented within Jira
A vital member of the Stardew team and partake in our agile development methodology
Gaining insight into modern development practices within a global organisation
Contributing to our Jenkins continuous integration platform, which automatically assesses application code checks and runs tests on deployment
Minimum Qualifications
A full-time undergrad student in an accredited software development related course at the time of internship participation with a solid academic standing
An open minded individual motivated through learning new concepts and ideas
Good interpersonal and communication skills and an independent work ethic
An understanding of software testing and quality assurance would be beneficial

Position Overview
As an Applied AI Research Scientist at Autodesk Research, you will be doing applied research that will help our customers imagine, design, and make a better world.
We are a team of scientists, researchers, engineers, and designers working together on projects that range from learning-based design systems, computer vision, graphics, robotics, human-computer interaction, sustainability, simulation, manufacturing, architectural design and construction.

Minimum Qualifications
A Master's or PhD in a field related to AI/ML such as: Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Linguistics, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture or related disciplines
Strong background applying Deep Learning techniques (including implementing custom architectures, optimizing model performance, developing novel loss functions, and deploying production-ready solutions)
Familiarity in statistical methods for Machine Learning (e.g. Bayesian methods, HMMs, graphical models, dimension reduction, clustering, classification, regression techniques, etc.)
Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX or similar frameworks
Strong coding abilities in Python
Preferred Qualifications
