Fluxys is boosting its digital transformation and one of its initiatives involves setting up a Digital Lounge. Taking an innovative approach, the Digital Lounge will bring digital products to market in the form of minimum viable products. Examples include using artificial intelligence to improve our operations, developing an app to enhance the interface with our customers and deploying virtual reality to train our teams. To this end, the Digital Lounge will bring together people from different backgrounds who we will guide and support via agile and design thinking methodologies. These colleagues will then promote the successful products outside the Digital Lounge.

For the Digital Lounge division at our headquarters in Brussels? we’re looking for a Technical Architect (m/f/x).

Solution architecture vision & roadmap

You will determine the architecture for the solutions developed in the Digital Lounge in collaboration with the wider architecture team, striking a balance between flexibility, rapid testing and long-term solutions with scale-up and integration into existing systems
You will document the established architecture

Software implementation

In consultation with the Digital Lounge teams, you will identify the best architecture for the applications they are developing
You will coach the developers on various aspects such as choosing the right libraries and platforms, web frameworks, developing best practices, unit testing, etc.
You will conduct code reviews of Digital Lounge products
You will help the Digital Lounge teams to fix difficult bugs, e.g. where there is interaction between code and infrastructure

Cloud

You will make sure that the cloud guidelines are applied
You will provide input to further develop these guidelines

Development/Operations

You will support collaboration between developers and Operations
You will automate the delivery process
You will coordinate software rollout on the infrastructure with ICT Operations and the product teams
A master's degree in ICT or equivalent experience
Good knowledge of modern software architecture (CQRS/Microservices/SOA/etc.) and .Net Framework (.Net and .Netcore)
An affinity with APS.NET and ASP.NET MVC, Angular 2, WPF, WinForms, TypeScript and JavaScript, Web API, WCF, TOAD, Oracle, NHibernate, Entity Framework and Microsoft SQL Server

Within the Digital department of Fluxys, the network team is responsible for the setup, security and operations of the network that is used for an extensive range of services in our industrial and office contexts. To accomplish our tasks, we can rely on a wide range of tools and technologies.

The network services we provide supports the setup of connectivity in the data centre, securing & connecting to the cloud, modernizing our WAN network, supporting the functional evolutions requested by application teams.

For our Digital department at our office in Brussels, we are looking for a Network Operations Centre (NOC) Team leader (m/f/x).

Your role will be to lead a team of 5 people in charge of the day-to-day operations of the network.

You will have the end responsibility for the follow up of the network daily operations
This includes amongst others:
Handle network incidents and outages
Be the point of contact for our teams in the field and within ICT. This applies to our colleagues in Belgium and in Europe
Deploy the changes requested by other teams or in the context of the different projects
Preform changes with security at the forefront
You will always watch over the availability of the network serving IT and OT clients
You speak Dutch, French and English
You have a background in computer science, Bachelor or Master
You have at least 3 years of experience in managing a team
You have the mindset to be the technical guide for your team members
You are flexible and ready to be on call 1 week on 4 weeks (weekdays : from 6 pm ‘till 8 am and weekend/ holidays : 24h/24h)
You have good operational firewall knowledge (Palo Alto and Checkpoint)
You understand routing and switching protocols; OSFP, ISIS, MST, …
You have demonstrated experience with cloud technologies
You have an extensive experience with Cisco Wireless
You have worked with python and/or ansible for automation
You have knowledge of backend tools for monitoring, NAC, central syslog, authentication
Any OT experience is considered a plus

Fluxys Digital designs, develops and manages all the company's IT systems, and is therefore responsible for all commercial, functional, technical and application-related aspects. The Department ICT Security and Architecture is responsible for the ICT Security Service and the company's IT architecture. This includes the coordination of projects, infrastructure architecture, technical architecture, as well as business and application architecture. The department also ensures the cybersecurity of Fluxys’various systems and applications, such as industrial systems, commercial applications, office solutions, and cloud platforms.

For our ICT Security and Architecture department at our office in Brussels, we are looking for an Architecture & Cybersecurity Manager (m/f/x).

As part of our energy transition strategy, the development of new infrastructures for hydrogen, CO₂, and other connected molecules presents a significant challenge. These advancements require a profound transformation of our application landscape, including the integration of new solutions and the adaptation of existing systems.

In this context, the primary objective of the Architecture and Cybersecurity Manager role is to ensure the long-term sustainability of the company's digital assets while supporting the teams towards a product-centric organization. This involves establishing guidelines for applications and infrastructure, designing and implementing a robust security framework, and overseeing its integration and compliance across all digital initiatives.

For the architecture responsibilities, you will report to the Director Digital, whereas for cybersecurity

matters, you will formally report directly to the Management Team.

Define Architecture Principles : Establish ICT architecture principles in collaboration with Digital teams to ensure a coherent and efficient technical framework for digital operations
Implement Architecture Principles : Oversee the translation of these principles into actionable implementations in partnership with the architecture and digital teams, ensuring consistent implementation across projects
Anticipate Technological Evolutions : Develop forward-looking insights into emerging digital technologies to ensure the organization stays ahead of technological advancements, anticipating and integrating them cohesively
Define Cybersecurity Policies : Develop cybersecurity policies that comply with legal and regulatory requirements, consider the evolving security landscape, and address the specific needs of the organization, ensuring secure and compliant operations
Ensure Operational Cybersecurity : Translate the cybersecurity policies into operational measures and oversee their implementation to maintain a safe and secure operational environment (implementation is done in the Digital Operations Team)
People management : You will lead a team of about 10 direct reports and manage an indirect team of 25 to 50 individuals. You will drive change management, guiding your teams through transformation and strengthening an environment of continuous improvement
Stakeholder Management : You will act as the key liaison with management, external stakeholders, and internal departments on ICT security and compliance matters. Integrate cybersecurity considerations into broader organizational policies, ensuring awareness and alignment across all levels of the business. Lead stakeholders through the change process, promoting agility and fostering an environment of continuous improvement
You have 10-15 years professional experience in IT with a solid track in architecture, a deep expertise in architecture frameworks and knowledge or interest in Cybersecurity
You bring extensive experience in people management, with a proven ability to drive change and foster agility within the organization
You have the ability to provide strategic advice while ensuring business continuity
You possess strong emotional intelligence, demonstrated by your ability to create a collaborative and positive environment, and motivate teams even under stressful conditions

The Digital Department's Infrastructure & Operational Technology Support Team supports the expansion of Fluxys' activities and is responsible for managing the central infrastructure systems and services necessary for the operation of all the company's applications, including in particular our data centres, our storage and backup systems as well as our application hosting infrastructure (physical servers, virtualisation solutions, container platform. It is also responsible for implementing and supporting infrastructure solutions dedicated to operational technology (OT), encompassing our various industrial sites (industrial automation and control system) as well as our central supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system.

The Digital Department's Infrastructure & Operation Technology Support Team at our office in Brussels is looking for a Infrastructure & Operational Technology Support Team Leader (m/f/x).

As leader of the Infrastructure & Operational Technology Support Team, you will ensure the continuity of operations, guaranteeing, together with your team, the reliability, security and efficiency of the systems used within the company.

You will handle the management and continuity of infrastructure services supporting all the company's applications (including the data centres in Anderlecht and Zaventem) as well as the OT-specific infrastructure services
Team management: you will lead a team comprising 10 people and will organise and train them to guarantee the continuity and development of services
Management of internal customers' needs: you will provide infrastructure solutions addressing the specific needs of our various industrial sites (industrial automation and control system) as well as our central SCADA system
Management of external partners and the budget: you will negotiate and manage equipment supply and support contracts with around 10 external partners, working with an annual budget of over €1 million
Architecture, Security and Audit: you will work closely with the Architecture, Security and Audit teams. You will provide for the optimal security of the systems as well as their long-term development (roadmap)
A master's degree in IT or a related field
Communication skills: excellent communication and active listening skills, with an outstanding ability to maintain lasting relationships
Experience in contract management and customer relationships: four years' experience in contract management and follow-up, as well as in customer relationship management
Negotiation skills: ability to negotiate with finesse and assertively defend the company's interests
Team and budget management: four years' experience in the management of teams, contracts and large budgets (>€500K)
Affinity with IT infrastructure: significant interest in IT infrastructure projects. Previous (technical and/or management) experience in the field of infrastructure or OT would be an asset
Language skills: fluency in French or Dutch, with a good command of the other national language and of English
