Mission

As Senior Java Software Engineer, you actively participate in the delivery of external (Customer Solution) and/or Internal IT Projects (Product & Administrative Solutions). You also participate in the Analysis, Estimation, Designing, Building, Testing, Documenting, and Implementing of Customer Solutions
In addition, you maintain and enhance existing solutions (Change Request Delivery) and provide 2nd level support (Support process).

Responsibilities

As Senior Java Software Engineer, your responsibilities will be to:

Analyze, develop, test, maintain, fix, write supporting document of customer solutions and Speos Administrative solutions.
Review and improve existing code.
Participate in the continuous improvement of the Client Application Development.
Provide 2nd level support in case of incident / issues with an application, identify root-causes & resolution, deliver bug fix when needed.
Participate in the creation and validation of functional documentation of a project.
Take the lead in the creation and validation of technical documentation of a project.
Build solutions according to agreed specifications, within speos standards & guidelines.
Test & deploy solutions based on pre-defined acceptance criteria and procedures.

Profile

As Senior Java Software Engineer, you have:

A bachelor degree in IT or equivalent by experience
At least 5 years of experience in development
Very good command in French and English. Dutch knowledge is a plus
Experience with the following technologies / tools:
GMC (Quadient) is a plus
Java, JavaScript and .Net
Genkins and Github
Git & GitLab: Intermediate - Version control and CI/CD
APIs & Testing: Postman - API development and testing
Databases: DB2, MariaDB, MongoDB - Querying
Project Management: Jira, Confluence - Task management and documentation
Remote Computing: MobaXterm, SSH, SFTP

Preferred:
Quadient® Inspire Designer & Inspire Content Manager: Experience is a plus
Visual Basic: Basic - Maintaining legacy services

Job Description

Senior Automation Software QA Tester

Mission

As Senior Automation Software QA Tester, you realize tests according to the department procedure and following test plan. You also suggest improvement for the Testing methodology, and you maintain non regression test cases for client application and products.

Responsibilities

As Senior Automation Software QA Tester, your responsibilities will be to:
Take ownership of creating, maintaining, and executing test cases.
Provide input during the functional analysis phase to determine the appropriate level of test cases needed.
Offer support during grooming sessions, retrospectives, and demos to ensure testing considerations are addressed.
Test APIs independently of the front-end using tools like Postman or similar.
Define payloads, endpoints, and assessing JSON responses.
Do performance testing and load testing APIs.
Test web interfaces and fat client applications.
Familiarity with injection testing into form fields for security assessment.
Understanding of navigation rules, technical session content, and browser behaviors.
Capability in performance testing of front-end applications.
Work with dashboards using tools like Kibana and Grafana.
Implement alerting mechanisms for performance and behavioral anomalies.
Review alert, warning, error message. Make sure with service delivery department they match their requirements.

Profile

As Senior Automation Software QA Tester, you have:

An experience in regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain intact.
Good knowledge in the following testing tools is a big advantage: Jira, Selenium, LoadRunner, Postman, Jam, Mantis or SoapUI.
Good knowledge in Gitlab CICD for creating automated testing jobs when necessary.
A good experience in test automation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
A good understanding in databases like Mongo, DB2, and Oracle to search and assess data for testing purposes.
Very good command in French and English.
