About the role:
At Concept Capital Group, the Private Client Manager is responsible for overseeing the investment portfolios of our clients, ensuring they align with their financial objectives and risk tolerance. Working closely with the Relationship Manager (RM), the Portfolio Manager focuses on constructing, monitoring, and optimising investment strategies while conducting in-depth market research and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct regular meetings with clients to review portfolio performance, discuss market conditions, and address client goals or concerns.
· Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure that their investment needs and objectives are consistently met.
Personalised Wealth Management:
· Develop and implement personalised investment strategies based on client goals, risk tolerance, and financial circumstances.
· Collaborate with internal relationship manager and account managers to ensure portfolios are aligned with client expectations.
· Provide financial advice on areas including asset allocation, tax optimisation, estate planning, and retirement planning.
Investment Strategy & Portfolio Oversight:
· Regularly review client portfolios, ensuring they align with long-term objectives and adjust them based on changes in the client's situation or market conditions.
· Monitor performance of client portfolios and suggest rebalancing or adjustments as needed.
· Work closely with the investment team to ensure that clients’ portfolios are appropriately diversified and managed.
Business Development & Client Growth:
· Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through cross-selling additional services (e.g., tax planning, estate planning, charitable giving).
· Assist in the acquisition of new clients by leveraging existing relationships, referrals, and networking.
· Maintain a high level of client satisfaction, ensuring long-term retention and the continued growth of client assets.
Risk & Compliance:
· Ensure that all activities are in compliance with industry regulations and firm policies.
· Work closely with compliance teams to ensure client documentation and processes are in order.
· Educate clients on investment risks and opportunities, ensuring they have a full understanding of their portfolios.
Client Reporting & Education:
· Provide regular performance reports, investment commentary, and updates on economic and market trends.
· Deliver customised presentations and financial education to clients as needed, helping them understand their investments and financial planning strategies.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
· Collaborate with other departments to offer clients a holistic wealth management experience.
· Work closely with the portfolio management team to ensure alignment of strategies across client portfolios.
Qualification and Experience
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field. A CFA, CFP, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
· 5+ years of experience in asset management, private wealth management, or a related field, with a proven track record of managing client relationships and portfolios.
· Demonstrated experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families.
