We are looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of hands-on experience in IT support, troubleshooting, and system administration. You will be responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure, resolving technical issues, and ensuring smooth operations of hardware, software, and networks.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues across the organization.
Respond to and resolve user queries through phone, email, and ticketing systems in a timely manner.
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
Manage user accounts, including password resets, permissions, and profiles using tools like Active Directory.
Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi, LAN, and VPN.
Support and maintain business-critical applications such as Office 365 and other enterprise tools.
Perform diagnostics, root cause analysis, and recommend solutions for recurring technical issues.
Configure and manage IT systems, including network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
Assist in system upgrades, patches, and migrations while ensuring minimal downtime.
Collaborate with vendors for hardware/software support and warranty claims.
Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, solutions, and IT assets for reference.
Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices.
Participate in IT projects and provide suggestions for improving existing systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
4+ years of experience in IT support, with a focus on troubleshooting and system maintenance.
Proficient in Windows and MacOS operating systems, including installation and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and ticketing systems.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
Familiarity with IT infrastructure, including servers, virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Strong understanding of IT security and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
