Headquartered in Farnborough, UK, we are the studio behind award-winning and groundbreaking titles including Synapse, Phantom: Covert Ops, Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord, Far Cry: Dive Into Insanity, and Fracked.
We also boast a dedicated and extremely experienced publishing team to partner with the industry’s brightest developers on projects ranging from the critically-acclaimed Little Cities to PowerWash Simulator VR.
Fully dedicated to VR games since 2013, our team is now comprised of 250+ people across four development teams, with two fully-remote studios – Elevation and Orbital – joining the original nDreams Studio and the Brighton-based Near Light to cover the whole spectrum of VR gaming.

As our team continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Game Data Analyst to join the Business Intelligence team in a cross-functional capacity. Reporting to the Senior Sales Planning and Analytics Manager, the analyst will focus on game data analysis, reporting, and decision-making, collaborating with development teams, shared tech, and key business stakeholders.
The rundown:
9-month fixed-term contract
Full time (37.5 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:
Data-Driven Insights & Decision-Making
Analyse player behaviour, product performance, and business metrics to provide actionable insights.
Use data analytics to support game design, monetisation, and engagement strategies.
Work with stakeholders to influence product and feature roadmap decisions.
Data Management & Automation
Maintain SQL databases for efficient data analysis.
Automate data processes to streamline analysis and reporting.
Business Intelligence & Reporting
Develop and maintain BI reports and dashboards to communicate key findings.
Clearly present insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
Work closely with data engineers and game developers to define data requirements and telemetry events.
Work with the publishing team to optimise retargeting and reactivation campaigns.
Requirements
Experience working with large game datasets.
Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing data.
Strong programming skills with Python preferred
Experience with business intelligence and data visualisation tools (Power BI preferred)
Understanding of the games industry to provide meaningful and relevant analysis.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to share findings with stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics) or equivalent experience.
Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and problem-solving skills

nDreams Studio Elevation are re-establishing the boundaries of VR. We're looking for an exceptionally talented VFX Artist to help us explore, create, and deliver world leading innovation in software and VR hardware. With our first title nearing release and a second in early planning stages, it's a great time to join our fully remote, VR-first studio.
In this role, you will bring our game worlds to life by injecting them with the drama and credibility required to immerse users fully. Your work will be the polish that takes our games from good to great. You will work closely with the Art Director and other studio art team members to identify the right effects and tricks to support the game vision and create a richer, more alive world.
The rundown:
12-month fixed term contract
Full time (37.5 hours per week)
Fully remote within the UK

Key responsibilities:
Develop effects within a game project in collaboration with the Art Director/ Lead VFX Artist.
Create and implement effects that fit both the style of the game and the technical constraints of the platforms
Contribute work back to the Core Tech project for re-use throughout nDreams
Identify player issues where VFX could enhance enjoyment or understanding of the game
Collaborate with other art team members, design, and Graphics Programmers on the implementation approach for VFX
Consistently deliver impressive and dramatic VFX to projects
Ensure VFX does not block the game's delivery against the vision for timing or quality reasons
Elevate the enjoyment of the product by players through VFX
Requirements
The skills you'll need:
Excellent working knowledge of Photoshop, Unreal, Maya, or relevant equivalents
Real-time engine experience in Unreal, creating VFX blueprints, shader networks, particles, dynamic systems, lighting, and post-processing
Fundamental understanding of the importance of VFX on the users' final experience within performance constraints of VR hardware
Ability to deliver on a varied selection of art styles, from realistic to highly stylised
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to articulate and receive constructive feedback on own and peers' work
Implement, troubleshoot, and debug VFX or cross-discipline VFX systems
Shape and contribute to a VFX workflow for efficient design to delivery of effects within a game
The nice to haves:
Experience with VR development
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or HLSL
Previous experience in the gaming industry
Published products within the Console, PC, VR, or Mobile space in a VFX role
Experience working with Pre-Viz tools for VFX

As a Senior Technical Artist, you will be working alongside a talented art team driving forward cutting-edge visuals, providing technical guidance and defining art workflow and pipelines. Key responsibilities:
Shader development: Create, refine, and iterate on shaders and master materials within Unreal Engine's node graph and HLSL shader code, ensuring they are built in a user-friendly way for the art team.
Shader optimization and profiling: Experienced in optimizing shaders across multiple platforms, including mobile, to enhance memory usage and performance.
VFX Optimization: Provide technical support and guidance for the creation and optimization of VFX, with expertise in Niagara.
Work with counterparts on the engineering and art teams, guiding feature development accessibility.
Consult other disciplines (e.g. programmers, artists, designers), seeking feedback before and after implementation.
Champion the tech art requirements for the studio
Create scope for others, break down work to be undertaken in parallel, calling out dependencies and review points.
Improve the efficiency and/or developer experience of other staff, via software or process.
