Job Title

M365 & SharePoint Migration Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a M365 & SharePoint Migration Engineer for a short term contract with one of our key customers.

Project:
The migration program is designed to transition an organization's Office 365 environment to a new tenant, ensuring a seamless and efficient process. The program aims to enhance the Office 365 environment by improving performance, security, and scalability through careful planning and coordination. Key components include:
Tenant-to-Tenant Migration: Staging, planning and moving emails, files, and other Office 365 services to a new tenant.
Cutover Events: Part of a team of skilled engineers responsible for transitioning different parts of the Office 365 environment in waves to minimize disruption to end-users.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute migrations from legacy systems to Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online.
Develop and implement migration strategies and solutions.
Have utilised AvePoint or other third-party migration software to ensure efficient and effective migrations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.
Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues.
Ensure data integrity and security during migration processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and related migrations.
Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, Teams, and Exchange Online.
AvePoint or other third-party migration tools.
Familiarity with Agile Scrum processes.

This is a remote outside IR35 project.
