Mission: Join us as a Senior Backend Engineer to lead the development of Regate by Qonto , the platform which speeds up pre-accounting for thousands of SMEs and their accountants in France and Spain.
Impact: As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be part of a team of 50 engineers from all over the world. You will work hand-in-hand with Product and QA inside a cross-stack Squad and will contribute to the evolution of the Regate product, in an environment guided by short time-to-value and high attention to detail.
As a Senior Backend Engineer in our Regate team, you will:
Work on the Regate product, developing new features, improving existing ones, and fixing bugs.
Develop and maintain high-quality code in Ruby on Rails, continuously improving the state of our codebase to increase future velocity and reliability.
Collaborate with Product and QA teams to ensure seamless, high-quality deliverables.
Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Drive initiatives to optimize software and tooling for performance and scalability.
The Regate app is built with Ruby on Rails and React. Our platform runs on a Kubernetes cluster hosted on AWS, with PostgreSQL as our database of choice.

About You:
You have a strong background in software development, with specific expertise in Ruby on Rails.
Fluent in English, both technically and conversationally.
Proven track record of mentoring junior team members and leading projects.
Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
You are driven by challenges and are proactive in finding solutions.
