Digital Transformation Lead
Job Description
The ICB’s Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) department works in collaboration with health and care partners across Kent and Medway to deliver the digital change and transformation required to support the system to be more effective and transform at pace with higher quality and lower cost.

The Digital Transformation Lead is a senior member of the Digital Delivery team working closely with teams across Kent and Medway to promote digital innovation, automation, modern office technologies and championing the use of modern business analysis and digital transformation methodologies.

The ICB operates a hybrid working policy to provide work life balance with the benefits of face-to-face collaboration at ICB and partner provider locations across Kent and Medway. This role will require the postholder to regularly work closely with clinical and operational stakeholders, and digital team colleagues, at their place of work and is therefore not suitable for fully remote working.

building effective working relationships with key clinical, health and operational colleagues across health and social care stakeholders
providing digital transformation subject matter expertise working in a matrix approach to understand requirements, delivering analysis, and identify, evaluate and recommend options
leading full lifecycle delivery of ICB digital transformation project and programmes, as part of a cross organisational team including at scale collaborative projects led by individual providers, health and care partnerships or provider collaboratives – this includes support for business case development, process mapping, functional and non-functional requirements development, procurement and deployment
supporting ICB delivery division colleagues to ensure the digital elements of transformation programmes are effectively scoped and delivered
resolving issues and conflicts that arise within the programme and constituent schemes and between other system programmes
identifying opportunities and inter-dependencies across system programmes and supporting the removal of barriers for delivery
developing, managing, monitoring and leading delivery of overarching project and programme plans
line managing direct reports, ensuring that individuals have clear objectives, regular feedback, formal appraisals and personal development plans and that any performance issues are effectively managed.
