About the Role: We are looking for a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer with expertise in SAP systems to join our team during an exciting period of transformation. You will play a critical role in developing and supporting next-generation SAP solutions hosted on Microsoft Azure, contributing to the infrastructure that will support ongoing business operations (BAU). This is a unique opportunity for a talented professional to influence the future of cloud systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Azure Environment Management: Administer the Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure hosting SAP technologies, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance, and security.
Security Best Practices: Collaboratively design and implement robust security measures using Microsoft technologies (eg, landing zones, Firewall rulesets, NSGs, ASGs, root certificate authority), coordinating efforts with internal and external teams, including penetration testing activities.
High Availability Solutions: Maintain and enhance highly available, multi-region solutions within the Azure environment to ensure continuous operation and reliability.
Change Management: Implement technical changes in a structured manner that minimizes risk and ensures high reliability, availability, and performance across the platform.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) pipelines using cloud-native tools, ensuring automated, consistent, and efficient platform deployments.
Performance and Capacity Standards: Ensure that all infrastructure components meet necessary performance and capacity standards to enable efficient and scalable business operations.
Monitoring and Alerting: Create and maintain monitoring dashboards and set up alerting systems for critical processes using Azure-native tooling to proactively address potential issues.
Data Protection: Administer policy-driven data protection practices to secure cloud solutions against data loss, ensuring compliance with data security standards.
OS Patching and CVE Remediation: Plan and implement operating system patching using WSUS and address CVE remediation to maintain the security and integrity of the environment.
Key Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer with a focus on Microsoft Azure and SAP systems
Strong hands-on experience in managing Azure environments, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, and security.
Knowledge of security best practices for Microsoft Azure, with experience in landing zones, NSGs, ASGs, and Firewall configurations.
Experience in developing and managing high availability, multi-region solutions on Azure.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), using tools like ARM Templates, Terraform, or Azure DevOps for automated deployments.
Experience with system monitoring and Azure-native tools to set up proactive alerting and issue resolution.
Understanding of data protection practices and compliance standards to ensure robust and secure cloud environments.
Familiarity with O/S patching (WSUS) and CVE remediation processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical details into actionable plans.
Location & Contract Details:
This role offers a flexible blend of remote and on-site work in the North of England.
Rate: £400/day (Inside IR35).
Contract Duration: 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs.

Job Role Details
Overview:
The Enterprise Process and Change Lead - Product Compliance will be accountable for partnering with Subject Matter Experts to Develop, Deliver and Sustain a set of Business Processes and Operating Technologies' associated with the SAP Product Compliance module and specifically the elements by Global Operations SHE groups associated with Dangerous Goods and Safety Product Data Sheets. With a focus on the exploitation of SAP S/4 HANA Technology to realise the defined processes. The role will then develop into implementing these processes across our global functions and hub sites driving the various aspects of deployment including user acceptance testing, training, cutover and hypercare on behalf of the users in Global SHE.
Experience Needed:
Extensive experience of SAP Product Compliance Management processes within the SHE environment, especially those associated with Dangerous Goods and Safety Product Data Sheets. Dangerous Goods experience is the primary skill required.
Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver Change across Multiple Locations and/or Business Functions.
Understanding of Master Data requirements.
Demonstrated ability to influence key Stakeholder Groups across Multiple Locations and/or External Parties.
Strong Communication and Relationship Building skills with an ability to influence others to achieve objectives.
Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language.

bluewaveSELECT are working with a boutique consultancy, to build an associate pool for multiple upcoming WalkMe implementations.
This would be a remote-leaning engagement, with any on-site only being when absolutely necessary - and also covered by the client.
WalkMe is a newly acquired solution for SAP, and subsequently we are looking for just minimum of one implementation + deep functional understanding of your specialist SAP area. We are open to rates due to the wide net we are casting in terms of requirements, the listed rate is a guide for general SAP Functional Consultant.
There will be multiple projects in the coming weeks, however these will be across many functional areas.
Key Requirements
Minimum 1x implementation of WalkMe
7 years or more implementing within your specialist process area of SAP (Ariba, SuccessFactors, Concur, O2C, P2P etc)
Proven ability to quickly develop strong relationships with new clients, either virtually or onsite
WalkMe certification preferable
S/4HANA experience highly preferable
