Overview: Reporting to the Head of Sales Xerox IT Solutions
The IT Solution Specialist role will bridge the gap between technical pre-sales and the sales team, focusing on delivering tailored IT solutions to meet client needs. This role involves identifying client challenges and understanding key business requirements delivering innovation with aligned IT solutions. Key focus on driving revenue growth from both existing and new clients, working with the sales account team through consultative selling. The IT Solution Specialist will be aligned to the field sales team and work closely with technical teams, vendors, and clients to ensure successful growth of our IT services portfolio into existing and new clients, forging long-term partnerships.
Key Role Tasks And Activities
Proactive Client/Prospect Engagement & Account Management working in tandem with the sales team: Initiate meaningful IT strategy conversations with both current and new clients and serve as the first technical point of contact, ensuring client needs are met through tailored solutions and impactful presentations, driving relationship success and business value.
Client Engagement and Relationship Management
Identify and engage with prospective clients to understand their IT needs and business objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
Act as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process.
Solution Development and Presentation
Collaborate with technical teams to help identify and propose tailored IT solutions.
Organize and lead product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions with clients, ensuring appropriate internal resources and partners are involved.

Sales Strategy and Execution
Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
Identify new sales opportunities through market research, networking, and client referrals.
Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to stay ahead of the competition.
Collaboration and Teamwork
Work closely with sales and technical pre-sales to develop viable solutions.
Align with marketing teams and partner management to create campaigns and materials to support
sales efforts.
Provide feedback to product and development teams based on client insights and market demands.
Performance Tracking and Reporting
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress within Salesforce
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and vendor innovation.
Monitor client satisfaction and ensure continuous client innovation.
Essential
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Proven expertise in IT services solutions, delivering tailored offerings that meet client needs.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, software, and networking.
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and product offerings.
Strong desire to continually develop knowledge and skillsets on IT solution products.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Salesforce CRM, and Microsoft Teams to improve client communication, and drive productivity.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, for effective interaction with the sales team and end user clients
Great interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation capabilities, enabling effective engagement with clients and colleagues
Strong customer engagement skills, emphasizing your ability to build and exceed client relationships and build long standing partnerships

Position Concept
The Managed Print Services Analyst is responsible for delivering and maintaining operational excellence for our large, enterprise clients. The Managed Print Services Analyst ensures Xerox achieves our contracted service levels, through process efficiency, data integrity and business analytics. In this role, the Managed Print Services Analyst will quarterback all escalations regarding the accounts in their portfolio. They will work with a diverse group of departments internally to cross functionally do root cause analysis to resolve issues for clients. Reporting, trending and analysis will be completed by the Managed Print Services Analyst and provided to internal stakeholders and/or clients.
Skills
Strong communication skills, spoken and written, in both English and French
Ability to work independently and with a team with minimal supervision
Strength in MS office particularly Excel and Power BI
Excellent analytical skills combined with the ability to apply critical thinking
Customer Service and focus
Effective Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Change agility and ability to adapt to changing customer requirements
Experience
Previous experience in business-to-business role
College Diploma/University Degree is an asset
