The Opportunity:
As their Team Lead Engineer, you'll be responsible for guiding a team of skilled engineers in building and maintaining their critical infrastructure. You'll be instrumental in developing tools and processes that empower their development teams to become self-sufficient in DevOps practices. You'll work on complex challenges, ensuring the reliability and performance of their services in a demanding, high-availability environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Design, implement, and manage their Kubernetes-based containerised infrastructure on AWS.
Develop and maintain low-latency networking solutions across AWS and physical data centers.
Contribute to the development of DevOps tools and processes to enable developer self-sufficiency.
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support critical production systems.
Required Skills and Experience:
Extensive experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
Deep expertise in AWS infrastructure and networking (EC2, VPC, EKS, etc.).
Proven ability to design and implement low-latency networking solutions.
Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills.
Minimum of 12 months of experience leading infrastructure or DevOps teams.
Experience in a high-availability, mission-critical environment.
