Explore your future career
As a Data Analyst, you will be specialized in the transaction experience scope, you will provide insights, analysis, and data products to optimize payments, financing, and compliance. Your projects may include tracking payment costs, improving payment performance, assessing default risk, automating finance operations, and enhancing compliance through dashboards and automation.
You’ll play a key role in driving efficiency and supporting the finance team with reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Build a reporting to track our main payment/financing costs and their drivers
Analyze and provide insights to improve our payment performance (following the implementation of a new PSP)
Explore and expose parts of the product where our financing model is inefficient
Build a model to assess the default risk when proposing financing to a client
Drive internal efficiency by providing data products and automating manual tasks of the Finance Operations team
Support the finance team (accounting, FP&A) in their reporting exercises
Improve our compliance processes by building dashboards and automation
Empower the teams across Malt to answer data questions quickly and easily by building high-quality ground truth data sets, metrics and dashboards.
Contribute to the modelization of our databases and semantic layer along with analytics engineers
Be a key member of the data team, helping spread the data and AI culture within Malt
About You
You have +2 years of experience as a data analyst in a fast-paced and quantitative environment (tech companies, start-up, scale-up…)
You have an interest (and ideally experience in) for finance-related topics
You consider yourself a full-stack data analyst: You write SQL perfectly, you know how to work with ETLs, you’ve been using data modelization tools such as dbt, you can write simple Python scripts… You are also very comfortable in using data visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Metabase, Tableau…)
You are curious and eager to learn new things and grow
You have strong communication (written and oral), presentation-building and storytelling skills
You have a Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Operations Research) or in Business
You are fluent in English
