To support Malt's growth, we are recruiting a Practice Leader to manage the Professional Services team. The team is made up of three Key Account Managers (KAM) as well as two Project Partners who work cross-functionally to support the management of client and freelance relationships. Clients include strategy, organization and management consulting firms, Big 5 and ESNs.

Key Responsibilities

Team Management
Supervise three KAMs directly to ensure the proper management of key accounts and the achievement of commercial objectives
Manage two Project Partners across the board who provide support for connecting freelancers with clients, thus guaranteeing the quality of service
Organize regular one-to-one meetings (weekly or bi-monthly) with team members to ensure their performance, monitoring, and professional development
Support KAMs and Project Partners in their professional development through quarterly and half-yearly reviews
Ensure the development of team skills, by supporting them in their development through appropriate managerial supervision
Business and financial development
Define the Practice's development strategy in alignment with Malt's overall commercial objectives
Supervise the KAMs' commercial actions to ensure the achievement of the financial and strategic objectives set
Define and monitor the Practice's annual and half-yearly objectives
Closely monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as the volume of business generated
Client and project management
Work closely with Key Account Managers to develop existing client relationships and identify new business opportunities
Develop business relationships with firm partners, ESNs and Operation Partners of investment funds (Large Cap)
Ensure the right level of service and support for independent consultants on projects
Cross-sales networking and development
Support all Malt BUs in their development via networking
Budget monitoring and payment management
Secure the financial health of the BU by relying on internal teams
Cross-functional support
Work closely with other Sales Leaders, sharing best practices and learning from each other
Contribute to international expansion by collaborating with Sales Leaders outside France for international clients
Working on cross-functional projects around product, sales, marketing, etc



About You

At least 8 years of experience in B2B sales for companies, including a minimum of 3 years as a sales manager
Previous experience in the field of intellectual services, consulting, staffing or IT services
Understanding of the world of consulting and/or PE required
Proven experience in business development/prospecting, able to support your team in the development of their portfolios
Excellent interpersonal skills, curious and intellectually agile
Team player and strong adherence to our core values of Joy, Community, Ambition and Responsibility
Native French speaker and perfectly comfortable in English, to be able to collaborate with Malt teams throughout Europe

We are looking for an impact-driven Engineering Manager to elevate the performance, productivity, and innovation of our software engineering team. Key Responsibilities

Lead and Inspire: Guide a tribe of 8-12 software engineers, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing team culture through mentorship and coaching. Play an active role in hiring top engineers and developing talents. Organize and lead team meetings, workshops, and events to foster alignment, morale, and collaboration
Combine Strategic Collaboration with Pragmatic Execution: Partner with product managers and key stakeholders to define, prioritize, and execute on goals that align with business objectives. Oversee timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and to the highest standards. Serve as a problem-solver and remove obstacles that hinder the team’s progress and enabling engineers to focus on impactful work
Raise the bar: Champion best practices in software development, including code quality, testing standards, and team organization, to ensure consistently excellent output. Define, track, and report on team KPIs and project progress, ensuring transparency and accountability across the organization. Actively contribute to the Engineering Manager Guild, driving the adoption of new tools, processes, and best practices that enhance the productivity and efficiency of the broader engineering organization



About You

Proven experience of scaleup challenges, particularly in terms of growth and execution.
A significant experience as a senior individual contributor as backend/fullstack (ideally in java/Kotlin)
A successful first experience in people management (Tech lead, Engineering manager ...)
Good architectural skills and familiarity with modern software development practices
Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Experience or a good knowledge of B2B integration issues is a real plus (SSO, Punchout, HRIS, etc.)

The Engineering team works hand-in-hand with Product and Data teams to create the most efficient marketplace for our freelancers and clients. The Engineering team also supports the other teams at Malt by providing them with the tools they need to make their day-to-day life easier.

Each tribe is responsible for a part of the product from floor to ceiling (user research, design, architecture, support, technical debt, production...), and imagines the best solutions to reach the product common goals and thus contribute directly to the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will integrate one of our product squads, composed of 3-5 engineers, a Product Manager, and a Product Designer. Your team will work on a part of our product in autonomy
You will be responsible for all aspects of the development: technical design, development, testing, deployment, and support

6+ years of professional software development experience
You have significant experience in Java or Kotlin

Want to make a real impact for Malt by building innovative solutions? Our Data Engineering team is looking for a motivated and curious intern to join us and contribute to our data platform!

You will drive innovation on our data platform by developing technical solutions to automate tasks and boost internal productivity, leveraging innovative technologies like open-source frameworks, or LLMs. You will directly contribute to the development and enhancement of our data applications, including Malty AI, our internal AI assistant platform used by 80% of our employees. This internship offers a unique opportunity to tackle concrete challenges and learn from experienced data professionals.
