Founding Software Engineer - Health Tech - Venture Backed Start-up

Overview:
An elite team of high-achieving founders and early hires are looking to bring on a Founding Software Engineer to join their health focussed mission.

Location:
They need someone based in their central London office for approx. 3-4 days per week given the early stage they're at, this is not a remote role.

Role:
The ideal candidate will be a talented Fullstack Software Engineer capable of architecting and implementing critical apps to support AI-driven products. You will be needed to help build robust data pipelines, web and desktop apps with monitoring tools, delivering high-performance solutions that are reliable, efficient, and scalable.

Responsibilities
Develop browser extensions and desktop apps (Windows and MacOS)
Create web apps for AI agent audits and model performance validation
Design and implement robust pipelines for AI models - for reliability and scalability
Write clean, maintainable, defensible, and scalable code with a high bar for quality

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
Proficiency in Python, with strong familiarity in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, C# and frameworks like React or Vue.js
Experience with data pipelines, micro-services, and cloud platforms

Job Description
Desktop Support Engineer - Contract - 3 months - £150 per day - Outside IR35

A leading financial services firm based in the City of London is looking to hire a Desktop Support Engineer on a 3 month initial contract.

3 month Contract (could be extended)
In the office 5 days per week 7am-4.30pm
Immediate start

You will be reporting to the Head of Desktop Support and you will be providing desktop support to all employees spanning all business functions.

Main Responsibilities

Configuring desktop PCs, Monitors, Market Data access, dealer-boards and mobile devices.
Performing desk moves.
Investigating and resolving issues with email delivery, Microsoft Office 365 tools, landline & mobile telephony, voice recording, printing and UPS.
Responsible for issue logging and allocation within Service Now.

Backend Developer (Node.JS)

A London based start-up is looking for a highly talented back-end engineer to help them craft their market changing technology platform.
This is an opportunity to be a part of a skilled, fun and exciting team, working on a live product.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js.
Collaborate with the product team to develop and refine the backend components of our web applications.
Build and maintain backend services.
Write unit tests and conduct thorough testing of backend components to ensure reliability.
Build and optimise RESTful APIs to support front-end applications and ensure seamless integration.
Integrate new third-party APIs to augment our data sources and functionalities.
Implement and adhere to best practices for securing APIs.
Utilise databases such as PostgreSQL to store and retrieve data efficiently.
Optimise database queries and ensure data integrity in the backend systems.
Create and maintain technical documentation for backend systems and APIs.
Ensure that documentation is comprehensive and up-to-date.

Required Experience:
Tech:
3+ years experience in Node.js and SQL.
A deep understanding of web application backend infrastructure.
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
Experience with Python is preferred.
Familiarity with cloud platforms.
