Business Analyst - GLOSS SME
Job Description
We are keen to speak with Business Analysts who specialise in Gloss, to join a banking client of ours based in Central London.

You will be working on a complex integration project which will see the firm transition from their old Swift MT format to the new MX formats, as per the ISO 20022 standard. You will be expected to drive the project forward and take pressure off the internal teams.

The candidate will need to have sufficient experience using Gloss and have prior ISO experience, ideally working on similar projects.

This will be on an initial 6-month contract, with the expectation to be extended. Working on a hybrid basis with 3 days in the office.

Requirements
Previous experience working on Gloss integration projects in a investment banking environment.
Proficient with Gloss. Hands-on experience required.
Experience with ISO 20022.
Strong senior BA experience.
SME level knowledge in Swift, corporate actions and securities lending.
Familiarity and experience with STM or Finmap.

Benefits
Paying in the region of £90,000 to £100,000 per annum. Initial 6-month contract.

Job Description
I am keen to speak with, Sanctions Screening System Specialists who are keen to take on a exciting challenge with an Investment Bank, in the middle east. This is a 6 month contract which will require you to work onsite in the middle east. Client and exact location to be discussed.

The investment bank are implementing an new compliance screening system in partnership with a vendor. They require the specialist to implement the system and its processes.

The Specialist will be responsible for:
Implement current set up of the compliance screening system.
Define and configure detection logic
Decide which sanctions lists to integrate
Fine-tune fuzzy matching thresholds
Manage the alert calibration process end to end.
Understanding vendor system capabilities
Work with the compliance system vendor to improve processes
Write business requirements
Engage with multiple senior stakeholders.

Requirements
You will have the following:
Expertise in compliance screening systems
10+ years experience as a system implementation specialist, ideally within an Investment Bank
Understand matching rules field by field for AML related knowledge
Knowledge of Sanctions screening systems.
Vendor Management experience

Job Description
We're on the lookout for a DevOps Business-Technical Liaison—someone who can connect the dots between stakeholders and engineers, ensuring seamless communication, improved delivery pipelines, and smarter business outcomes. You will be joining an Insurance Consulting client of ours on an initial 6 month contract.
What You'll Be Doing:

Be the Translator between business stakeholders and DevOps/Engineering teams—ensuring everyone is on the same page.
Drive Discovery by gathering and analysing business requirements, user stories, and technical use cases.
Optimise DevOps workflows including CI/CD pipelines, automation, infrastructure as code, and security best practices.
Spot the Gaps and suggest improvements to delivery pipelines and development processes using a data-driven approach.
Engage Stakeholders by leading discovery sessions and clarifying the technical implications of business decisions.
Document Everything with clear and concise process maps, dashboards, and performance reports.
Assess Risks and analyse the impact of proposed changes to ensure minimal disruption and maximum performance.


Requirements

4+ years in a DevOps, Business Analysis, or Technical Project Management role.
A strong grasp of DevOps principles and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with containerisation (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins).
Excellent communication skills—you can talk tech with engineers and strategy with executives.
Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Terraform, and scripting languages like Python or Bash.
A relevant degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

This is initially a 6-month contract with the expectation of extension. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a technically adept professional with a passion for data and reinsurance systems, offering a key role in testing and integrating cutting-edge platforms developed by an in-house IT team. Working at the intersection of data, project management, and IT, this position provides the chance to make a tangible impact within a dynamic organisation operating in the Lloyd's market.
Reporting directly to the Head of Data, the successful candidate will ensure the reliability and performance of reinsurance platforms, with a particular focus on bordereaux data processes. If you have a strong understanding of Lloyd's, syndicate, or MGA environments and a background in reinsurance, this role provides an excellent platform to apply your expertise in a collaborative and innovative setting.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough testing of reinsurance platforms, ensuring bordereaux data accuracy, integrity, and system performance.
Collaborate with in-house IT teams to validate platform integrations and ensure seamless functionality.

Requirements

2-3 years+ experience in a data testing, analyst, or similar role within the insurance or reinsurance industry.
In-depth knowledge of Lloyd's market, syndicate operations, or Managing General Agent (MGA) environments.
Strong expertise in reinsurance, particularly outwards reinsurance processes and bordereaux management.
Familiarity with SQL and/or coding skills (preferred) to query, manipulate, and analyse data effectively.
Ability to work confidently at the intersection of data, IT, and project management, with excellent problem-solving skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
