About the role
As our Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for positioning our Roast & Commerce products in the market by effectively communicating their value to potential and existing customers. In this role, you will serve as the crucial interface between the Product Management team and the Commercial team, translating technical product features into compelling benefits. Your work will ensure that Cropster’s products resonate with target customers, drive adoption, and differentiate Cropster in the industry.

The preferred locations for this role are Europe and the US, with the possibility of working remotely.

What you'll do

Co-own the Product Business Plan: Together with the Product Manager, co-own the business plans for the Roast & Commerce products. This includes long term roadmaps and business cases, yearly budget plans and quarterly operational plans.

Develop Go-to-Market Strategies: Collaborate with product management, sales and marketing colleagues to craft product positioning and messaging that align with our target buyer profiles. Identify opportunities to increase product awareness and successfully launch new products.

Market Research and Segmentation: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes. Develop buyer and user profiles to tailor marketing efforts and ensure a strong Product-Market fit.

Increase Product Adoption and Cross-Selling: Partner with product and sales teams to position products effectively, enabling users to discover and understand the benefits of new features and offerings. Promote cross-selling opportunities that continually add value to our product ecosystem.

Marketing Events: Together with marketing colleagues, prepare and execute marketing campaigns that are aligned with short and long term objectives of the products and assess their impact.

Sales Enablement: Work with sales, product, and marketing teams to communicate the product’s value proposition clearly, especially during new product launches and updates. Develop and provide the sales team with the necessary tools and training to enhance their sales efforts.

Create and Manage Marketing Collateral: Develop a range of marketing materials, including data sheets, infographics, white papers, user guides, web tutorials, and more, to clearly articulate the benefits of our products. Support and propose the creation of additional content, such as videos, blog posts, and campaigns, based on the product’s value proposition.

Monitor and Adjust Marketing Tactics: Continuously monitor product performance and customer feedback, making data-driven adjustments to marketing strategies and tactics to improve engagement and outcomes.


We are looking for someone with

A deep understanding of the coffee industry, including operations such as coffee roastery, farming, processing, export, or import.

Significant experience in product marketing, including market and competitive analysis, customer segmentation, and product positioning. Ideally in the coffee or SaaS industries.

Strong communication, content creation, and public speaking skills.

A business and analytical mindset; ambitious and results oriented with strong quantitative skills and a keen attention to detail.

Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with other departments to drive results.

Fluency in English.


That said, we’d be particularly delighted to hire someone with

A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

Experience working with Cropster’s products and an understanding of their workflows.

Familiarity with product lifecycle management and experience managing product launches and go-to-market campaigns.

Proficiency in marketing tools and CRM platforms.

International experience would prove beneficial.


What you can expect
The salary range for this position is € 55K to € 64K gross/year for Europe-based candidates, and $ 75K to $ 85K gross/year for US-based candidates. We look at factors like your experience and individual qualifications to determine our offer.
