Context:
The Commercial Expertise Center groups all sales functions of the organization, ca. 250 people across the world with one main mission : serve our clients developing solutions that fit their needs and bring value to ENGIE. The transversal team is in charge of defining and implementing process and standards to improve Commercial Excellence and Customer Focus.
Role:
As Data scientist, you will report to the Head of Transversal & Commercial Oversight. One of the key objectives for the department in 2025-26 is to leverage on all the available data and learn about customer behavior from it in order to boost sales and improve client knowledge. You will collaborate with the rest of the EC Commercial department to fulfill its missions and will be involved in projects involving data analytics.

Key missions
Your main responsibilities are:
Conduct inventory of available data, assess quality and reliability
Build models, perform analysis crossing data from different sources to derive insights related to client behaviour and value
Develop, improve and support commercial analysis models and reporting tools
Contribute to the digitalization and data-driven decision making process of GEMS
Leverage complex data to provide insight to the top management.
Be in contact with data and CRM experts, to exchange about models, new ideas, in order to leverage on the knowledge from peers.

Context: The applicant will join the "Digital and Data Accelerator" (DDA) team. The role involves modeling and full or partial automation of complex business flows related to bidding, trading, plan nomination, and reporting.
