This role will give you the opportunity to leverage your expertise in data analysis and machine learning to drive actionable insights and contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions that improve the health and well-being of their customers.

Working on some extremely exciting projects in the healthcare sector, using Generative AI and MLOps techniques to progress and develop your career in Data Science.

What you'll be doing:

Gather and clean large volumes of structured and unstructured data from various sources.
Apply statistical, machine learning and traditional and generative AI techniques to analyse data, identify patterns, and develop predictive models.
Create visual representations of data to communicate insights and findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Interpret data analysis results to provide actionable insights and recommendations for business decisions.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, develop solutions, and implement data-driven strategies.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data science, machine learning, and related technologies to improve methodologies and processes.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and ethical standards in handling sensitive information.

What you'll bring:

Previous applied experience within a data science role.
Demonstratable knowledge of extracting business value from data science using both quantitative and qualitative metrics.
Strong mathematical and statistical background.
An ability to understand and translate data into actionable insights for the business.
Strong working knowledge of Python and data science packages such as Scikit learn, Keras, Tensor flow and PySpark.
Good understanding of industry standard MLOps capabilities.
Understanding of the financial industry, in particular insurance, would be advantageous.

Fantastic opportunity for a graduate with 1 + years' proven commercial application experience in an Analyst role to join a highly respected global company. This can either be post university, or a placement completed during studies.

Initially being offered on a 12 month fixed term contract however, opportunities to turn permanent may be possible. Degrees such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, MORSE, Economics etc are suitable - with a strong numerical and problem solving content. You should have a strong enthusiasm for problem solving, attention to detail and a passion for data. You will be expected to provide analytical expertise, seek to identify data gaps and proactively develop the data agenda in line with business priorities as well as challenge business leaders to become truly data driven. A positive thinker with plenty of curiosity would be ideal for this role.

Duties

Partner with core business areas to gain a deep understanding of their data, reporting, visualisation and analysis needs
Manage a portfolio of dashboards, visualisations and data sources, and the continuous improvement of these
Deliver robust and accurate data sets and visualisations within expected timescales
Structure problems and design and develop numerical models to inform decisions
Proactively consult and bring together multiple stakeholders and gain buy-in to ideas and approaches
Provide deep insight for critical business questions using a variety of analytical tools e.g. SQL, Tableau, Python and Excel

Skills

Proven advanced analytical skills
Comfortable challenging and influencing senior management with conflicting views
Creativity in recommending solutions and commitment to driving delivery
Proven ability to lead the direction of analytical projects
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
Proven technical skills including SQL, Excel and Python (or similar)
Experience in design and creation of data visualisations and dashboards e.g. Tableau

Experience

1+ year in an Analyst role
Analysing complex issues, packaging findings and presenting effectively to stakeholders
Managing databases and/or blending data

For the role of Data Insights Analyst, we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual, ready to get stuck into some extremely interesting projects and work with some huge global brands.

You'll be working in an incredibly supportive and social team, where each employee is an individual contributor and has a voice to produce ideas and ways of success.

In this role, you will be responsible for data collection, analysis and interpretation of a vast and rich data lake of consumer behavioural data to provide actionable insights and recommendations regarding marketing campaigns, sales opportunities and brand perception.

The role….

Gather data from diverse media platforms using data scraping tools, APIs, and monitoring services.
Provide data-driven recommendations to improve campaign performance based on analysis of key metrics.
Creating propositions for clients and storytelling - really bringing the numbers to life in an engaging and informative manner
Clean and structure raw data to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis.
Identify patterns and emerging trends within media data to understand audience behaviour and market dynamics.
Track key metrics like impressions, reach, engagement, sentiment analysis, and cost-per-click across different media channels.
Analyse data to identify different audience segments and their media consumption habits.
Monitor competitor media coverage and identifying trends to inform strategy.
Create clear and concise reports with data visualizations (graphs, charts) to communicate insights to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate….

Experience working with consumer focused data and audiences
Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau)
Previous experience in data storytelling, data translation and delivering insights to a variety of audiences
Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues within data and developing solutions to address them
Knowledge of different media channels (social media, print, television, online advertising) and their metrics
Effectively presenting complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to interpret statistical data and draw meaningful conclusions
