As a Junior Research Executive at Kantar, you will be part of an enthusiastic and ambitious team that deals with large international clients across various industries to help grow their brand. You will do so by assessing their brand strategy and positioning, closely supervising their brand position and growth, and measuring the impact of their marketing and advertising efforts.

In this role, you will maintain your own client relationships and translate their needs to an adequate research approach. You will share advice and relevant actions for clients based on your research data.

What you'll be doing:

Act as the first point of contact for the client for your projects.
Translate business issues into an appropriate research approach.
Set up quantitative research with support from Kantar network resources.
Keep track of timelines, project progress and you respond flexibly to urgent requests.
Analyse and interpret the research results and convert them into strategic advice.
Present the results to the client and make an impact with our insights.
Keep an eye on the commercial results of your projects and adjust them where needed.
Build a relationship with the client through daily interaction, and you are able to recognise opportunities where Kantar can further support the client.

The skills & experience you'll need:

You have an academic education degree, ideally combined with some work experience in a relevant field such as marketing, communications or psychology.
You enjoy helping clients and you have a genuine interest in helping large organisations better understand their customers.
You like numbers and you enjoy analysing data to gain insights.
You are confident, client oriented and have strong organisational skills.
You are fluent in Dutch or French, and English.

Data Scientist (langage R et statistiques) - Kantar Worldpanel - CDI

En France, nos spécialistes passent au crible la consommation française afin de mesurer, analyser et comprendre les achats des ménages français. Expert incontournable des marchés de grande consommation, nous aidons nos clients (industriels, distributeurs…) à orienter leur stratégie marketing et commerciale. A ce titre, nos équipes proposent des solutions adaptées qui nous permettent de mesurer, analyser et d’avoir une bonne connaissance des tendances de consommation des ménages.

Rejoignez notre équipe "Analytics and Data Science" chez Worldpanel ! Notre service est spécialisé dans les solutions techniques et statistiques, et développe pour le compte de clients des études non standardisés basées sur des modèles à fortes valeurs ajoutées. Vous travaillerez dans une équipe solidaire et pédagogue, avec une forte culture de collaboration et d'innovation.

Missions

Rattaché à une équipe composée d’une dizaine de personnes, vous aurez la responsabilité d’une multitude de projets d’études très variées et diverses dont vous serez le référent auprès des équipes clients. Dans ce cadre vous serez amené à :

Manipuler et analyser de gros volumes de données désagrégées provenant de diverses plateformes.
Développer, programmer, améliorer et débugger des programmes statistiques, principalement en R.
Réaliser des études statistiques complexes et variées, allant de petites études de quelques semaines à des projets de plusieurs mois.
Intervenir sur des thématiques diverses : études ad’hoc, média, branding, notoriété ; sur différents types d’études : segmentation, forecasting, modeling… en utilisant des méthodes statistiques (analyse factorielle, régression, corrélation…)
Collaborer avec des équipes non techniques (interne et client) pour comprendre leurs besoins et proposer des solutions adaptées à leurs besoins
Soutenir l'innovation de Worldpanel en développant de nouvelles techniques et/ou approches analytiques.
Participer à des projets globaux
Contribuer au développement des compétences de l'équipe (technique, gestion de projets, relations clients).

Profil

Formation en statistiques, data science, analyse de données ou équivalent
Compétences obligatoires et goût pour la programmation en R (R Shiny serait un plus)
Maîtrise des méthodologies d'analyse de données (AFC, segmentation, classification...).
Connaissances en Power BI fortement souhaitées.
Compétences en SAS et Python est un vrai plus !
Capacité à comprendre et à manipuler des données complexes.
Esprit d'innovation et capacité à proposer de nouvelles solutions.
Savoirs-être : autonomie, curiosité, capacité d’écoute, bon relationnel, rigueur
Anglais opérationnel peut être un plus !
