We're looking for a talented and experienced (senior) DevOps engineer to join the Delta team!
You will be working on building, maintaining, and scaling the infrastructure powering our Delta platform. Our applications run on Docker containers in either ECS or k8s. Data is persisted on MySQL and derived data is stored in Redis or ElasticSearch, depending on the use case. Using Github Actions, our code gets tested, formatted and scanned for security issues before it gets deployed to production, which can happen multiple times per day. All this lives in the AWS cloud, leveraging infrastructure as code using Terraform. In short, you'll be responsible for the infrastructure powering the Delta apps, serving a large userbase. You'll be working in our office in Ghent, Belgium. We're located right in the city center in a gorgeous historic building, which is pretty cool.

Requirements
Career:
BS (or higher, e.g. MS or PhD) in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
Passionate, pragmatic attitude, fast learner
Ability to diagnose technical problems, debug code and automate routine tasks
Analytical approach coupled with solid communication skills and a sense of ownership
Good knowledge of and/or experience with:
NodeJS, MySQL, Redis
AWS cloud, Linux
Github Actions, Kubernetes, Datadog
A form of IaC (Terraform, Cloudformation, Helm, FluxCD, Ansible, ...)
Other non-required pluses:
Python
Golang
ElasticSearch
Experience with financial markets
