We are seeking a Data Engineer Intern, based in London.

Job description
We are seeking a Data Engineer Intern to support the development, automation, and deployment of data pipelines as part of our infrastructure digitalization initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in data cleaning, data engineering, automation, and analytics within the private equity and real assets sector. You will work with structured and unstructured data, optimize data workflows, and contribute to building a robust data infrastructure for our digital transformation efforts.

Key Responsibilities
Consolidating, processing, verifying, analyzing and entering data, synthesizing information and translating it into key insights that support investment decision making
Create and deliver high quality presentations and database
Data Pipeline Development & Automation –
Assist in building and maintaining ETL pipelines for cashflow ingestion across multiple countries.
Optimize data ingestion, transformation, and validation workflows.
Research & Reporting Automation – enable automation in data extraction, aggregation and visualization of research slides
Data management & Quality Assurance – clean, reconcile and validate large datasets, implement data quality checks and compliance with data governance policies

Minimum Requirements
We are looking for candidates who:
Are pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science. Are pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science. Engineering / mathematical / analytical background is also preferred if coding is good
Have experience with SQL, Python, and data processing libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, or similar).
Are familiar with ETL tools and processes
data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) is preferred
Ability to collect, analyze, and draw conclusions from large quantities of seemingly disparate data and information
Structured and Critical Thinking & Analytical: breaks down complex problems and solves them in creative ways is a must
Self-starter with ability to multi-task and efficiently manage time and workload
Ability to work well in a team environment or on an individual basis
Attention to detail is a must
Must be proficient in French
