Marketplace Team at Scaleway:
At Scaleway, we are expanding and have decided to create a new team dedicated to developing solutions for marketplace platforms. This initiative aims to strengthen our market presence and provide innovative solutions to our clients.
The Marketplace team is a brand-new entity within Scaleway. You will have the unique opportunity to help build it from the ground up, contributing to defining its culture, processes, and objectives. As the first technical member of this team, you will work closely with the founders and existing teams to lay the foundation for a high-performing and cohesive team.
Your Daily Missions Include:
Development and Management of Artifacts:
Design, develop, and maintain essential artifacts for marketplace platforms, such as operating system images, container images, and artificial intelligence models
Collaborate with internal teams to understand specific needs and tailor artifacts accordingly
Ensure the quality, security, and scalability of the developed artifacts
Backend Development and Integration:
Participate in the design and development of robust backend solutions, with a focus on automation and efficiency
Develop and maintain high-performance APIs for integration with various platforms and services
Work closely with frontend teams to ensure seamless integration and a consistent user experience
Cloud Environment and Containerization:
Work with cloud providers and PaaS platforms to deploy and manage scalable solutions
Use containerization technologies like Docker and orchestrators such as Kubernetes to ensure application portability and scalability
Agile Approach and Team Collaboration:
Actively participate in team meetings, code reviews, and planning sessions to ensure progress aligned with project objectives
Collaborate with diverse profiles across the company, sharing knowledge and contributing to a continuous learning environment
Adaptability and Problem-Solving:
Demonstrate autonomy and adaptability in the face of technical challenges, proposing innovative and effective solutions
Identify and resolve technical issues quickly, minimizing operational impact and ensuring system reliability
About You:
> Technical Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages such as Go and Python.
Experience with SQL databases and Git version control.
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
Experience in developing and maintaining APIs.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
> Soft Skills:
Autonomy and adaptability in dynamic environments.

About The Job
Scaleway is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our teams.
Reporting to a Lead SRE, you will be responsible to ensure we can reliably serve our products for users around the world. We expect you to have a strong background in development and system administration. Our systems evolve constantly and the tools needed to observe and act to ensure their resilience need to evolve accordingly.
Minimum Qualifications
Previous experience as a developer in Go, Python or Rust
Experience in system programming with usual scripting languages (bash, Python)
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot production systems failures
A great attitude and desire to work with a team
Passion for incremental improvements on tooling, love all things of automation
Experience with Linux systems (Ubuntu/Debian)
Experience with cloud environments architecture (baremetal, virtual machines, containers, orchestrators)
Good understanding of computer networks: TCP/IP, DNS, load-balancing, IPv6, BGP and network virtualisation
Understanding of written and spoken english, capable of writing technical documentation in English, ability to speak english if needed
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with infrastructure as code and continuous deployment
Experience dealing with physical hardware automation
Experience with monitoring & logging systems
Experience administering relational databases
Knowledge of one cloud platform and related use-cases
Take initiatives to propose new solutions and defend them

Responsibilities
Create or optimize existing tools & documentation that will help identify, diagnose and remediate production incidents, automating as much as possible
Troubleshoot high-impact issues working with multiple engineering teams
Take on-call responsibilities, mitigate issues encountered in production and secure the best real-time answer to our customers
Ensure a high quality of service for our customers by leveraging observability and monitoring technologies
Manage lifecycle of products in production
Help implementing best practices in stability, resiliency, scalability, security and performance across our systems

About The Job
Scaleway is looking for an Instances Control Plane Engineer to join our Instances team. Your main mission will be to develop & maintain the virtual machine orchestration system that serves our Instances offers for a variety of hardware technologies, such as CPU or GPU.
Reporting to our Engineering Manager, Alban BETHEGNIES, you will utilize your mixed background in low-level software engineering and in systems administration
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in Python development
Experience in api definition & lifecycle
Experience in SQL database
Knowledge of linux administration
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Continuous Deployment
Very good command of English and French
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Container based deployment
