Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

What We Are Looking For
Experience as a Digital Project Manager building things like corporate websites, apps, online account management and other online systems.
Experience within a digital agency, or in another fast moving industry is a plus
Highly organised and motivated person with an aptitude for understanding and solving problems
Willingness to get involved in the sometimes messy process and support your team colleagues to get deliveries over the line
Understanding the value of collaborating with the team and client is very important
A positive outlook and strong interpersonal relationship building skills

Program Manager

This role is within Experience & Engineering in Ireland, working in the Healthcare Business Team.
We are looking for an experienced, energetic Programme Manager from a digital background who loves their craft. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, able to balance the technical aspects of programme management with a pragmatic and collaborative approach to support clients' strategic goals.
This is a new role in the team, and as such the Programme Manager will be expected to work with leadership to shape and define the direction of the team. They will play a central role in defining, producing and delivering digital projects and engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients like - HSE, CRU, Mater Hospital, SEAI and Uisce Éireann.
Job Purpose
As a Programme Manager, you will work as part of an multidisciplinary team that delivers projects covering all aspects of digital, including UX and UI design, DevOps and infrastructure, backend and frontend development, quality assurance, data and analytics, CRM, marketing automation and business analysis.
This role is key in ensuring effective communication with our clients about how the DEPT® team add value. As such they will be responsible for managing the project portfolio, ensuring regular communication to the client on the programme status and delivery against the agreed roadmap.
The role holder will manage the programme of work for clients, within the Business Team, working closely with Project Managers and the Business Team Principal to support delivery, ensure we are adequately resourced and manage the long term forecast.
Key Responsibilities
Deeply understand the clients values and strategic goals, and ensure the value the team brings is demonstrated
Think strategically, have an eye on supporting the delivery team, client and ensure we are always looking at the big picture
Work closely with the team to identify gaps and opportunities, and collaboratively come up with solutions
Work with Business Analysts and Project Managers to define new requirements and scope projects, including budgets and fit within the programme
Co-ordinate with Scrum Masters, Project Owners, Project Managers and work with the client and Business Team Principal to manage the overall roadmap
Lead on resource allocation, resource management,and capacity planning to ensure Projects are adequately set up for success
Responsible for mid range and long term resource forecasting and capacity planning
Support the continuous improvement of business processes within the team
Run projects acting as Project Manager, where necessary to support the programme delivery
On occasion be able and willing to get stuck in to the messy day to day in order to help the team over the line
Work to ensure we anticipate clients’ needs and offer a superb level of service
Work in a collaborative environment within the business and with client stakeholders

Our clients include ASOS, Just Eat Takeaway, Twitch, TikTok, and The White Company.
Job Purpose
DEPT’s Business Directors help ensure their teams are set up to deliver work to the highest standard and ensure our relationships are structured both commercially and operationally to be profitable for the business. They are responsible for owning senior client relationships, overseeing complex projects and leading teams with excellent communication and collaboration skills. The Media Business Director will manage Growth Marketing accounts, alongside being a key figure in a new and growing team of subject-matter-experts including paid search, social, SEO, affiliates, programmatic, data and CRM.
As DEPT® UK has grown, the complexity of our relationships with platform and technology partners has increased. The capabilities of these partners are developing at pace and we want to ensure that we offer our clients the full advantages offered by these developments. We also want to ensure that we are joining the dots between all the conversations being had by different teams and by DEPT® to make sure we maximise our connectedness.
Candidates must have experience delivering commercial success on complex clients in an integrated agency. They must have experience managing teams and have demonstrated ways of managing cross-functional teams both laterally and vertically.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Initiatives
Deliver agreed strategic initiatives based on overall business objectives for the year. In some instances this will be a lead role with the task of driving the initiative forward. In some cases this will be more of a supporting role and will input in some of those initiatives at differing levels
Ensure overall business strategy and objectives are continued to be communicated and prioritised across the teams and agency as a whole
Proactively identify and communicate other new initiatives, managing those upwards effectively where appropriate
Clients
Lead long term relationships with C-Level stakeholders for key clients. Understand their personal and professional drivers and thus help position Dept® as a key partner to help meet those goals
Support Client Business Directors to develop annual strategies for existing clients
Support with driving growth across services, uncovering upsell and cross sell of services within the clients
Work in partnership with the Management Team, Business Directors and Account Heads to manage New Business requests, proposals and onboarding process.
Spot excellent client work and ensure case studies are shared across the agency and added to our creds deck.
Commercial & Finance
Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of wider commercial context beyond profitability on projects (e.g wider business overheads, investment, 3rd party costs and client commercial issues that may affect Dept® relationship.)
Support management team on improving processes and systems with Finance and Operations to maintain client profitability at all times
Business development: Working closely with management team and department heads to develop a proactive new business strategy, Play a key role in identifying and initiating conversations, creating appropriate materials, case studies to help sell in Dept®’s offering.
Oversee key contract and cost negotiations across clients, support group heads in client commercial affairs
Oversee revenue forecasting and ensure appropriate trackers are up to date across the teams, reflecting the current status of projects as accurately as possible
Team Leadership
Direct line management of members of the team
Mentor the team and act as a final escalation point on a set of specific clients
Actively initiate programmes to train, upskill, and develop the talent on the team
Partner and work closely with other department leads (ie: Creative, Tech, Media, Design) to align the best team configurations, strategies and processes in order to achieve the best quality of work, while maintaining revenue targets.
Support with demand and capacity management, help predict skill-set capacity or shortages and implement strategies to mitigate foreseen risks amongst pods
